« The host ensured I was informed about my initial reservation, then a couple days prior to arrival, an email arrived with instructions on entry and other useful notes. The Cottage is charming, close to everything in Grand Marais, and was well suited for my week long stay.Due to significantly cold, well below zero temps, I did not get as much outdoor activity in but that was on me! I walked a great deal, supported the local shops, and had a great "solo retreat". »

« Overall loved the cabin and the experience! Luke was VERY responsive and we had everything we needed. The cabin was well equipped with beds & linens, supplies, games, kitchen utensils, an awesome gas grill and Traeger smoker, sauna and a private boat launch. Side note, the pictures were taken with a wide angle lens and they make the space look bigger than it actually is. However, the space is very comfortable and clean! Fun was had by all! We are already considering staying here again for skiing...

« What a perfect setting in the woods and close to everything ie. Lutsen and Grand Marais. A few initial small glitches; however, Mr. Smothers was MORE than accommodating especially given it was Thanksgiving day. Pool was closed; however, the public pool in Grand Marais was open. A setting were several quiet walks with family was very relaxing and therapeutic! I HIGHLY recommend THE HIBERNATION HOUSE! »
