« Road was rough getting to the cabin it had rained so there was a lot of mud in the driveway going up to the cabin is quite rocky Otherwise, it was beautiful »

« What a beautiful/romantic little cabin. It was a much needed get away for me to shut off my brain and relax. It is very off grid. The only surprise I had was that the property is pretty closely shared with another cabin and only divided by a small fence. The listing made it seem like it was more remote. But overall, the stay was wonderful and had everything I needed. I will definitely recommend to anyone. »

« Decorating touches, velvet curtains and every thoughtful amenity. Comfy bed and bedding, even an “upscale” outhouse w art on wall. Next best thing to tent camping which I can no longer do. I will be back. Great getaway. »

« The apartment is a wonderful location to relax and get back to nature. I just love the location and everything about the apartment is wonderful. The family even helped with shoveling this time. So thoughtful! »

« My partner and I had a pleasant summer getaway over our first anniversary here. We enjoyed the many features including the lakeside views, giant whirlpool tub, fireplace and well appointed kitchen. The management were friendly and helpful. »

« Charming, clean, perfect location, wonderful hosts. Definitely the best property of its kind where we have ever stayed. Only one caveat…if you have trouble with stairs, especially semi-spiral, you might want to rethink staying here. Bedroom and bathroom are upstairs and stairs are a bit steep and narrow with a sharp turn. Other than that, it is perfect. »

« We stayed in this cabin for our girls weekend Friday- Sunday. We had a campfire both nights - all the wood for the fire, chairs, marshmallow sticks, etc were there for us to use which was so nice! We used the kitchen for a couple of our meals, and all dishes we needed were in there. Everything was very clean and well maintained! It is close to so many parks/waterfalls/trails etc. so that’s what we did all weekend was explore and relax and this cabin and the location of it were perfect for our...

« The main considerations for me when staying at a hotel are that it is clean and quiet. Aspen Inn checked both of those boxes and toss in an incredible view of Lake Superior and you have an awesome play to stay. I was very happy with the stay and the room, as it was clean and spacious. »

« Enjoyed our stay. Very clean, nice setup; walking distance to downtown. Upper level provided good view of the City. »

« The beds are especially comfortable, I was attending the folk school and needed some supplies that would not have been allowed through TSA and the owner was very cooperative and supplied them for me. Everything was described. It is a bit ‘bare bones’, but serviceable. »
