« We found this hotel and itâs an absolute gem!
Nestled above Lake Windermere, it has a lovely atmosphere and comfy rooms. We had both dinner and breakfast there and they were both tasty and to a high standard. Staff were friendly and helpful at all times.

« Omg where do I start! This hotel is amazing. So clean so friendly. The staff are amazing. Nothing is too much. I brought my partner here to propose to her. There is a beautiful little cabin that they decorate and you can add stuff like chocolate covered strawberries, which are to die for. Also added a bottle of Prosecco which is in an ice bucket and placed just before the time you agree to use it from. « Had a lovely stay at this place! The space was spotless, beautifully kept, and had everything I needed for a really comfortable visit. Claire was a fantastic host â super friendly, responsive, and made everything feel easy from start to finish. « The person at the reception had a very inappropriate behaviour. The welcome was cold, to such a point that we did not stay in the hotel for the diner. Piscine (nice, good temperature), sauna (not warm enough - could not even sweat) Jaccuzzi (out of order). Wifi limited to Whathsapp and Facebok. TV poor quality (channels). Room quite big, good confort with 2 kids, a plus »

« Had a lovely stay at the cottage. All the check in information was sent in advance and we had no trouble getting into the house. Had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. Location was brilliant, nice easy stroll down to the lake edge. Would definitely stay again. »
