The property overall was really great for the price. It is about 20-25 minutes away from Anna Maria island beaches and it was easy to travel to other beaches like Lido Beach, Siesta Key, etc. Parking at those beaches is not easy, so leave very early to get a spot or plan to go later and see the sunset. We were also here during prime time spring break, which accounts for the crowds. The pool wasn't very clean when we arrived, and although the house rules indicated that the pool is cleaned weekly, it was not cleaned at all during our 1 week stay. The pool is also not heated, so it was a bit chilly.We also had a lot of issues operating the induction cook top. After cooking for about 20 minutes, it would turn off all of the burners and flash "H" on all burners, which indicated that the cook top was still hot after cooking. Since this was happening before we were finished cooking, then Google says it could have been a malfunction in the sensor or the pots were not correct for the unit. The hot water does take some time to reach the showers, so plan accordingly. The location, although centralized is in a quiet working-class area. It isn't really walking distance to any boutiques or other fun stores. There are also no sidewalks in the neighborhood, which makes taking evening walks quite tretorous. Otherwise, the house was more than enough space for our family of 6 and the kids still really enjoyed the pool. The hosts were super nice and very quick to respond!
