I was certain that I booked my stay including breakfast but they charged us again at check out. Additionally, i received an online bill before check out that an open payment of 12,95(or similar) was open for the breakfast but at checkout they charged us double that price. „Trevligt hotell mitt i Lyndhurst och mitt i New Forest Nationalpark. Smått rum och trång säng. Kan inte rekommendera att boka ett sådant rum för två vuxna. Kunde alldeles knappt sova. Frukost var bra med buffé.“

„We were not expecting such a great hotel - it is truly a 'New Forest Inn', at breakfast we were treated to a 'walk-by' of New Forest Ponies' - which was fun as they walked very slowly past the 'Inn'. And the breakfast was 'scrumptious'! „The room it self was good but the bathroom had a mould smell that strong that we couldn't stay in the bath room for long. We kept the bathroom door closed all the time to stop the smell from coming out. It was room 57. The other rooms might have been ok. I told cleaning staff. The pub at the front of the hotel was good.“

„The general overall stay was super. The staff very helpful especially when we had a problem with our tv, came and sorted it straight away. The organisation of the breakfast with tables linked to your room name was a real plus! Much nicer than 'sit where you like'! Breakfast was lovely with great service, the one down side was the lack of fresh fruit and the tables could be a little larger! Room was clean, well maintained and serviced. „Nice little bar with good outside space great location a Ross from open forest. Room smelt of dog after a while and the room needs a new lick of paint as does other areas .not a bad place just a little tlc needed .also breakfast couldn't see a price anywhere so didn't pre order one as you have to do that. Would of been better table service“

„It was perfect for what we were after. A night in Southampton before getting an early ferry. Location for that. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. Really helped make the stay. Only thing we would change would be a fan in the room, as widows didn't open much to get air flow. That said it was one of the hottest nights of the year. “

Couldn't get i to my room and called, said they'd send so.eone out and call me when there. 40 minutes later called again and was helped over the phone.. no one arrived or called. Wandered around for ages trying to find the entrance, e entually found a fire es ape that was open and just walked in. The main door is actually numbered no 3.. thought this was a room.. no signs saying Brookval guest house.“

„Terrible. Not at all as advertised. Front door was unlocked and open on arrival. Room door was open on arrival and unlockable. Room window was damaged and stuck wide-open, completely unclosable. I called the contact number and had no answer and received no call back. I arrived towards midnight at the property and still chose not to stay here.“

„Do not stay. No staff in property. Got passcode for a room that's different from my booking. Property was dirty and the room had someone else living there. I met people that rent one of the room for months (which was the room I was booked for), and told me the other room (that I got passcode for) also has a person living there for months. I had to find a different place to sleep urgently, and I'm trying to get refund.“
