« A lovely old-fashioned hotel in a stunning setting. Comfortable, clean, cozy. On arrival we were surprised to find nobody there even though we'd waited for reception opening time. Our keys were in a plastic bag pinned to a cork board. Explanations were confusing. Breakfast was an epic adventure. The gas stove had broken down and a tremendous effort was made by staff to provide us with a very good Welsh breakfast that was well worth waiting nearly an hour for. « We were here for a few days to explore this part of Wales. This house with self-catering rooms was ideal for our stay. A short walk away is a wonderful cafe with fresh baked goods and a nice espresso. The town centre is a short distance down the hill where there are a few pubs, shops and restaurants. There are some great hiking opportunities nearby as well. »
