„Avani is a lovely new hotel close to the beach & cafes. The issue is when you are there over the weekend, which was our case. On the Saturday we thought it would be nice to go for a swim & have a quiet drink in the restaurant on the top level. When we arrived we couldn't even get a seat. It wasnt until we checked out that we were told that the restaurant was operated by a different company & they had booked other parties in on the weekend. „We had bad luck with the weather and the Sunshine Coast had only "liquid sunshine" from the skies for us. The booking was made only a day before we arrived and we were lucky to have a nice room. The surrounding was okay and nice cafés in walking distance. “
