  • Architecturally designed layout for easy living and entertaining, this spectacular property has sought after rock wall frontage and it’s central location means you are only a short stroll from all amenities including the Amity Point swimming enclosure, public jetty and boat ramp. This stunning 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom property has the location, quality and seclusion you have been seeking in an island escape, with the open plan living areas and two bedrooms boasting amazing water views out over Moreton Bay.

    The fully-equipped gourmet kitchen with custom cabinetry, stone countertops and modern appliances, leads out to a private and spacious covered entertaining deck with outdoor dining and lounging options, perfect for those alfresco meals while soaking in the magnificent panoramic views with friends and family. The deck spills out to a grassed lawn area perfect for kids to run and play with the waterfront being fully fenced off to keep little ones safe. Those keen to fish during their stay can enjoy the solitude of casting a line from the private jetty or families can just enjoy being immersed in the bay and spotting the local dolphin population and the myriad of other marine life that call the waters of Moreton Bay home.

    On the second level, the spacious master bedroom is designed to take full advantage of the bay views, creating an oasis you can escape to with ease. The open plan ensuite is just as impressive, with a separate shower and large bathtub, perfect for soaking away the stresses of everyday life and slipping into holiday mode.

    The home offers ducted air-conditioning and ceiling fans throughout for year round comfort and the house is fitted with wood framed stacker windows and doors that open to allow for sea breezes to flow throughout the space. Free WiFi and Foxtel keeps everyone connected and entertained when they are not out enjoying the natural wonders of the Island.

    Dolphins at Sunset is a holiday home that is sure to impress. From the outlook and proximity to the waters of Moreton Bay, to the stylish interiors and well thought-out floor-plan, this property encapsulates everything you want for an island escape. This setting ensures peace and quiet whilst being only a very short drive to all amenities.

    All linen is provided and beds are made, ready for your arrival. All you need to bring are the beach towels.

Lovely views and location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a lovely time and have rebooked. Two shortcomings that people need to be aware of.There is no tumble dryer and the washing drying line is located very close to the gas barbeque. The main bedroom has no wardrobe to hang clothes.Kitchen is very well equipped.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our new favourite place on Straddie. Beautiful house in the best location. Shop across the road and Amity Pavillion 200m up the road. Amazing views from every room. Loved the private jetty. Has everything you need to cook in the kitchen.Only 2 small negatives would be was surprised there was no dryer and would have hoped for a king bed in the main room for a house of that price range. We will be back next year!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Dolphins at Sunset was ideal for the fisherperson with access to the private jetty whom doesnt mind spending a fair bit of money. This is one of the more expensive rentals due to location and size of house. The jetty was definitely the best feature for us as well as the fully fenced yard for our toddlers to explore and play whilst we fished. Location was excellent with store across the road and pub a block away. We had issues with the locks which didnt lock however owner and agent is aware. It is a pretty safe area we learnt anyway. The house itself was gorgeous, however more suited to young couples or people with older children. There is one bedroom downstairs and the rest upstairs which is difficult with young kids. Ambient lighting, aircon and beautifully renovated bathrooms. Again we would have enjoyed this style of accomodatiin much better without kids 😀 Very private and secluded. Would have been beneficial for a dryer to be available. Suggestions for more updated cleaning products to leave the place nice when checking out. Ample parking and ability to have car inside the shut gate was a plus too. Aircon and ceiling fans.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: On arrival check-in staff could not be more accommodating, then opening the front door and looking across the living room through to views of the bay honestly takes your breath away. Bonus, not only our own jetty to fish from but every room has an ensuite with the two upstairs rooms having fantastic views to boot, well equipped kitchen alongside a large dinning and family room. A coffee in the morning is only a short walk away with then a stroll along the water's edge only to return and relax the day away, in the afternoon sitting on the back veranda having a cold drink watching one of the best sun sets we have seen. Will have to be honest though there are some places to dine or snack but maybe not to expectation which is a shame it's a great area. So, as you do get out a T-bone and cook it on the Webber on the deck while the vegies are steaming in the kitchen. All in all, it's a great place this is our second stay here and it won't be our last, we highly recommend it if you want to relax and forget the world for a while.
