Great stay at the holidays

Bristol Virginia stay

My family and I stayed at this house for a month while our new home was under construction. We loved that they accepted our fur babies. There was a long driveway, which made parking easy. It is conveniently near shops and restaurants, and the Hard Rock casino is 8 minutes away—a dining area for the whole family to sit and enjoy our meals. We would have stayed another month as my house is still under construction; however, it was booked on the days we needed it. I'm writing this review at another VRBO, and it's not as clean as this place. I highly recommend staying here if you have a family or a party of 6 and need a pet friendly place. Oh I forgot to mention the laundry and 2 bathrooms is a huge plus. Thank you and have a great day!

Clean, easy entry

The listing description is accurate and the home was clean and well situated. Plenty of kitchen supplies for the little eating in we did over a weekend. Coffee maker that makes a pot or a pod was welcome! Similar to other reviewers, we noticed that the front deck and stairs were a little unsteady and the closing mechanism on the front glass door was broken but could be easily fixed.

Bristol trip

Needed a place to stay to take my dad to Nascar in Bristol. This house worked perfect for the 5 of us fir the few days. Centrally located to lots of things, close drive to race track, safe neighborhood. Enjoyed our stay and would book again if in area. Hostess was very easy to communicate with

Thanksgiving in Bristol

Visit family in the area. Staying here allowed us to make a few items to share for Thanksgiving and not be underfoot. House is comfortable and cozy. Needs some maintenance on dishwasher (not anchored), front tub drains slowly, mixing bowls and pots and address steps to front door (unlevel and loose handrails). Thanks!

Perfect Birthday Trip

This house was great! I appreciate how pet friendly the house was … no size limits or # of pets. We brought our 2 dogs & my daughter brought her dog. The house was well equipped. Amanda was great with communication and provided amazing recommendations for places to visit.

Bristol music weekend

We enjoyed our stay ! Bathrooms & kitchen & bedrooms clean! Plenty of space in common area to chill. Unfortunately couldn’t hang on back deck all chairs were broken… I am a super host down in NC… my recommendation: new chairs for back deck- new Pillows- bench in bedrooms for suitcase…. Repair front deck boards old and could potentially be a hazard 😘

Overall setup of the house was great, however there were shrimp tails in the sink the shower head in the front bathroom wouldn't stay on and there is a electricity problem from the plug in the back bedroom it kept throwing the plug breaker, and there was dog hair on the foot blanket in the front bedroom, it was a nice house and a good location, just needs a little more attention to detail.

Very clean, quiet neighborhood. close to downtown

I enjoyed my stay very much. They literally thought of things, people tend to forget on vacation. The negative thing , Was the lack of window covering. Back door had no blind or curtain. 1 bed room had no curtain on 1 of the windows. As it's close to neighbors, I was uncomfortable. I did hang a curtain over the door,during my stay. I absolutely would recommend.

Cute but cutting

This property is as cute as advertised. I loved the space, it was tucked just outside of downtown, and it had a lot of pluses. However, the couch has screws sticking through, as if someone tried to fix it, that can grab and rip your clothing all the way to the skin. It ruined about $240 worth of jeans for myself and my partner and had to leave a pile of things in that spot so nobody got hurt. It would also be good to maintain the chimney or provide alternative heat source if power fails as it did on us in -1° weather.

Cute but unclean smokey mountain abode

The location, space, and atmosphere was perfect for our stay. Two problems put a small damper on our visit though. In one room it appeared the sheets weren't changed as there were crumbs, hair and a chicken bone found in the bed. The floor looked unkempt and had to launder the sheets, change the bed and vacuum. Also had an ant problem in the kitchen and living room. The couch was full of crumbs, sticky residue in places on the counter and on the floor under the table. We cleaned up the areas and got ant traps but still had ants crawling everywhere.

Virginia creeper trail

Stayed for an ultramarathon race on the Virginia creeper trail. Location was perfect and easy access to Bristol, Abingdon and Damascus. House was perfect for our needs. The owners were great and quick to respond.
