I would note that if you are from a rural area like me, bring a sound machine ( or white noise app) for the urban street noise you hear on the third floor. A sleep mask is also helpful as the large windows let in a lot of sun light. »

« Wow, wow, wow! We will definitely recommend this place and we hope to have the opportunity to go back in the next few years. We love vancouver and this place is close to everything. You do not need a car. The only negative comment is the air conditioning. It was fine since it was not too hot (about 20 degres), but I imagine with 35 to 30 degres...it surely gets too hot. « We loved our stay at “El Faro”. The location was perfect- close to trails and an easy drive to the centre of town. The suite was super clean. It was cosy but so well organized with all we needed and more- a kitchenette, bathroom, desk/ eating table, comfy bed, fireplace, swim towels, games. « We stayed a few nights to enjoy our vacation on the island.The home was nice and cleanly. Standard rules apply as any place would. Very quiet neighborhood. Great location. Owner was accommodating. We didn't need much from the owner, so communication can't be truly rated(a good thing). The home had everything you would need to stay in and cook or if you're wanting an evening out, there are pamphlets to browse through. The home had all amenities you would require if you didn't pack enough...
