« Convenient location and clean. Easy checkin with the key available from pub across the road. Had unusual single cup kettle and coffee maker and good selection of teas and coffees. Lights and bathroom tap were on timing sensors and both were a bit annoying particularly the tap when you were trying to fill a jug for the kettle. Bedclothing was a bit tired and there were only 2 fairly flat pillows on a standard size double bed. The thing I really didn’t like though was the musty smell of bedding...

« It was lovely. It was quiet and away from people, v close to local amenities and sites. The WiFi is spotty but that is no criticism, it was great to know i could just read a book without constantly checking my screen. Will definitely come again. »

« We did not receive the check-in details via e-mail so could not check in and ultimately not stay overnight. The phone number that was with the booking was supposed to be a helpdesk with the operator being anything but helpful. We had a look for help at the property but could not find anyone on two separate occasions; we were also astounded to discover that the accommodation was in the middle of a wedding venue and NOT the wedding we were attending. « I had the best time here, its so peaceful, stunning views and a very clean, spacious room. But to top it off the couple running it were the nicest people you will ever meet. They know so much about the history of the surpunding area and will give you advice for activities to do if you are ever stuck. I would highly recommend staying here and i will 100% be returning »

« Lovely rooms but booked two and got one, staff tried to assist but we had already settled down to sleep as it was late in the next day. Only paid for one I the end. »

« The rating was given for two star hotel. This is a motel style, very, very simple. Service was good, the room was relatively clean. We stayed only one night, so we just needed a place where we could sleep. It was a good place to stay for the money paid. »

« Excellent well designed modern lodge in superb condition. Ensuite bedrooms, comfortably furnished lounge area and fully fitted kitchen. Peaceful, secure countryside setting. Would definitely recommend for a quiet restful holiday. Lincoln, Newark and Nottingham easily accessible form this location. »
