Amazing Stay!

Property was very spacious and beautiful! The separate rooms with each having your own bathroom was a big plus. Area was easy to find and there was plenty to do with all the games and the big patio out back. We had 5 Polaris razors with trailers and were able to park at property pretty easy. Highly recommend this unit!

Palmetto Moon!

Our family had an incredible weekend celebrating our Mother’s birthday. The cabin was beyond our expectations. It was beautiful and clean. It was able to accommodate 16 of us comfortably. The back deck was our favorite part. Thank you to Brenda who was super accommodating with anything we needed. We will definitely be returning for a future trip!

Great Experience

We had a great time at this cabin. The location was great, in middle of the woods, in close proximity to everything. The cabin is well planned, and nicely decorated. We had enough beds and room for everyone. The kids loved the huge selection of games they had. We enjoyed the hot tub, sat by the fire outside. Loved the porch and patio furniture as well. We had a blast. Thank you!

Beautiful Cabin

This cabin was amazing. A little hard to find at first but as long as you follow the directions given by the host and not the gps you’ll find it! Also down a very dusty dirt road so don’t worry about washing your boat and car because it’ll get dirty but it was no big deal to us. We had a large group and there was plenty of space. The beds were very comfy. Every amenity was awesome! So much to do for adults and kids. Highly recommended and will definitely be staying here again!

The features we loved included a private bathroom attached to each bedroom, a huge common area where our family could gather in the afternoons and evenings for conversations and laughter, the huge back deck with fireplace and hot tub, plenty of games for entertainment, a well equipped kitchen, two washing machines and two dryers, the gigantic master bathroom shower, and very comfortable beds! We would definitely book the Palmetto Moon Lodge again for a future vacation.

Family get away

The cabin was just as described and very accommodating! Me and my family enjoyed every minute in the cabin and the outside areas. We had 5 kids ranging from 8m-17 and 10 adults. There was plenty of room for everyone. We cooked several meals there and had everything we needed for a big group. I took my grandsons baby swing that easily mounted to the outside swing set. This is the third year in a row I’ve brought my family to BB and this was probably the most accommodating. I asked for a two hour extended check out an hour and a half before scheduling check out and it was immediately granted. My family is considering coming back for Christmas!

You have a huge kitchen, huge sectional with TV and then on the other side of the fireplace is a poker table, foosball table, video game, and pool table. So the kids would hang out on the game side but they were still around the adults. Perfect family time! Also, each bedroom had its own bathroom... very nice! Lots of room! The company was responsive to my requests. We will 100% stay here again!

The master bathroom shower had writing on the glass doors that was visible until the shower got steaming. So it question the cleanliness of the restroom. Also the coffee maker was not working. Tried to contact point of contact person but answer. So had to go to Walmart and buy one. But other that we had a good time with family.

Beautiful Home

This home was more than I could have ever imagined, from the high ceilings, double sided fire place, the wrap around porch ( which my wife loved), the master suite with the huge master bathroom that my wife fell in love with. My daughter enjoyed the backyard so much that she took lots of selfies, lol. I enjoyed the game room with the pool table and the patio area where I was able to enjoy the football games while on the grill. Mrs. Brenda, was very nice and responded very quickly. She made sure we had made it safely, and when the fireplace wouldn't light, she sent someone out immediately, and it was fixed within 10 mins. The home was very clean and neat. Our family felt like we were home during our stay. We stayed during the New Year's weekend and had a blast. Overall, our stay was very enjoyable and relaxing. 1000% will definitely recommend and stay here again!! If you're thinking about it, dont think... just book it, and you will not regret it.

Awesome Experience

We loved our lodge, had tons of fun. Lodge was equipped with something for every age group. Huge back patio with jacuzzi, full size grill and place for bonfire, just outside the patio. It has full kitchen, excellent master bath and huge common area with lot of seating. We loved our stay!

The game room being downstairs on the other side of fireplace was ideal & encouraged gaming 24/7. All of the bedrooms were perfect! I book with this group only bc the cabins are amazing and I trust the management team. Brenda in particular has been amazing! You do not find service like this in Dallas. 2 yrs ago my brother was diagnosed with cancer within 30 days of our trip & Brenda offered to refund us.Any issues they provide quick service and go above and beyond to make sure your stay is excellent.

We loved the space! It was ideal for playing games inside & outside, watching movies, grilling out, or just visiting outside or inside. It was fairly close to the lake and the golf course for other entertainment. The house was VERY cool which was nice for this time of year! The only downside was the roads to get to the house. They were absolutley AWFUL especially if you were driving a truck. That is NOT the fault of the house though. Just might want to bring a SUV or car that has better suspension. It was a VERY rough ride to leave and go places. Again, that is NOT the fault of the house. The house was just AMAZING! All 19 of us LOVED Palmetto Moon Lodge! Highly recommend anyone to stay there! :)

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are a blended family with 5 adult kids, one daughter-in-law, and 4 significant others. So 12 adults when we are all together. This cabin was absolutely perfect for our large group with 6 bedrooms, each with their own separate full bath. Plus a half bath downstairs, so people did not have to use one of the downstairs private bathrooms during the middle of the day when we were hanging out. Pool table, ping pong, and foosball were all big hits with our family. The outdoor covered deck is also very large and is a great space to hang out in cooler weather. We did not take advantage of the very nice and large fire pit, but we definitely plan on returning to this cabin sometime during the winter when we can enjoy the outdoors a little more. This cabin is also very new, yet still in a pretty secluded spot, which is getting harder and harder to find in Hochatown with all the growth. Finally, Brenda and her staff at Lakewood Luxury Cabins were great as always. Texted to report one of the burners not working properly on the outdoor grill and it was fixed immediately. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone with a large group. You will not be disappointed!
