„I just stayed for one night- visiting family. The family was friendly and also gave me space. My favorite thing was the pond, with many koi fish. My area included a bedroom , bathroom with sauna, and a rec room with a giant tv, treadmill, ping pong table and fooz ball table. The bed was very comfortable and the night was peaceful. I would visit again.“

It's rare to stay at a spot where there are cooking spices, tupperware containers, and minimal cleanup/checkout instructions, and all of these little things really added up to make for a relaxing and fulfilling vacation. „My husband and I had a great stay at the Hoothaus. Great location with easy access to mountain biking and running trails. Close to the lake and to downtown Nevada City, yet still quiet and peaceful. The hosts were very communicative and helpful in suggesting local activities. Space was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed! Highly recommend staying here if you're in the area. “

„Perfect place to stay on our trip to Nevada City! The space is exactly as described. The birds outside were the cutest neighbors! There are apples and wild blackberries on the property, too. In the morning, you may hear people walking around upstairs. Something to consider if you are a light sleeper or want to sleep in. It was a short walk to town. Be sure to check out the Saturday Farmer's Market if you can! Would definitely consider staying here again. “

„Great place to crash if you're visiting the river, 10 minutes from Oregon Creek Park, which is an awesome spot to hit with kids. Pretty sparse surroundings and it's deep in the woods, so it's remote and private. Space itself is set up for 2 people, if you bring more people (wouldn't recommend more than 2 adults, 2 kids) you should bring an air mattress and your own bedding. „A wonderful place for our family to stay in Grass Valley! Nice, clean home with a hot tub! Wonderful master bedroom, comfortable bed! Owners are great to work with and reply quickly to any questions. Quiet neighborhood, which is great when relaxing in the hot tub. Would definitely book again!“
