We spent a week here (#520)-top floor. Almost all you need for a short stay. Longer stays: could use an in-suite laundry (hookups in 2nd BA).
King-size bed was super comfy & loved the fluffy king pillows. Excellent bedding. The closets are roomy + about 30 hangers. Electronic safe key pad doesn't light up. Main bath area has good under sink storage; toilet & shower are in a glass shelter for some privacy from bed area. 2nd bath with standard door, sink, toilet & shower stall. Both have rain-shower-heads.
Kitchen had most dishes, flatware, pots/pans and tools. Suggest a corkscrew/bottle opener. We always pack one, so we were fine. Design-wise, the prep area is very dark as the countertop & backsplash are black. Could use under cabinet lighting. For a week or two, it is fine, but longer term it would be a strain on the eyes. Small appliances are all new and functioned well. There is a flattop range, but no oven or dishwasher. {bylaw or safety issue?} If staying long term, I'd want a countertop oven/air fryer to bake/broil small dishes.
This unit had a connecting door to the adjacent suite. We could hear neighbours talking and their tv as well.
The remote AC/heat units worked very well. We kept it at 21c with curtains closed to keep out the heat from the sun. ESE facing unit. There is a sliding wall to close off the bedroom from the living room; so the curtains don’t close/meet together leaving a 4" gap. Fortunately, I had a foldback paper clip to hold the curtains together, to keep the sun out and privacy from potential exposure to guests in the suites across from us or anyone looking down from the rooftop restaurant.
Living-room has a small sofa and a slide out to convert to a spare sleeper for an extra guest. The large 4k tvs are smart/internet TVs with no local or int’l channels. Sports fans take a right out the building and head a few blocks to "Ozzie's".
We ate at the steakhouse twice, “Meet-Meat”. Some small plates available, but the draw is the excellent beef choices. The bar on the top level just opened up while we were there. Prices a bit higher than what you would pay at a local pub. But the view is nice. Appears this spot will be for residents only with game tables to be added?
Pool area nice with loungers and tables. If the place was full it would be crowded. Did not use the gym, but had standard equipment for those who must work out.
Security gate/guard to let you in & out of building.
Rating=9.9/10. Loved it!
