„My husband and I stayed for three nights at Longacre. The owner is very kind. The house is spacious, but I did find it to be a little dated. We stayed in the manor room which was very big but seems like it was decorated from the early 90s. Also, there was no option to lower the temperature in the room, so I had to use a fan from the closet to try to cool the room down. The grounds behind the house are beautiful and peaceful.“

„This lovely one bedroom cabin is located just far enough to feel secluded, but within 20 minutes of a grocery store and restaurants. It is equipped with everything you need to be comfortable. The hosts have excellent communication and strive to make sure their guests are comfortable, well informed, and get the privacy they desire. These 2 houses were located less than 10 minutes from each other, and both houses were about 1/2 hour from the seminary in Dillwyn, which was our intended destination each day. „Wonderful secluded cabin! Great location near state park and national park. Very convenient to Appomattox and Farmville, about 20 minutes either direction for groceries and restaurants. „Loved our time here! It was a clean and beautiful house! The communication with the owner was great. The mountain roads to the house were a little scary. The freezer had 3-4 old fashioned ice trays which were inconvenient if you needed more ice. The refrigerator temperature was so cold that our milk and our pitcher of water was turning into ice.
