Super Zimmer, sehr geräumig, gepflegt und sauber, tolles altes Gebäude mit Charme und historischem Aufzug, sehr nettes Personal, Wasserkocher sowie Kaffee und Tee, sehr zentrale Lage, Matratze auf dem Boden sehr bequem und mit angenehmer Bettwäsche, Klimaanlage vorhanden, Fenster können geöffnet werden wenn man nicht lärmempfindlich ist - Straßenverkehr nachts weniger, top Ausgangslage für Stadtbesichtigung, gute Anbindung an öffentlichen Nahverkehr und Flughafen, einziges Manko: eine feste Duschabtrennung im Bad wäre schön, gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, wir würden das Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen

Ich hatte ein Thai-Zimmer auf der ersten Etage, was mir ausgezeichnet gefallen hat. Die Betten sind sehr niedrig, d.h. die Matratzen liegen auf dem Boden, was mich aber kein Problem war. Allerdings würde ich das einer älteren Person nicht empfehlen. Das Bad war sehr modern und sauber, allerdings völlig unpraktisch. Es gab so gut wie keine Ablagefläche. Die Dusche ohne jegliche Abtrennung ist eine Fehlkonstruktion, nach dem Duschen steht der Boden unter Wasser. Zu beachten: es wird im Hotel kein Frühstück serviert! Aber damit konnte ich leben, schgließlich gibt es in der Umgebung genug Cafés, die man sich nicht entgehen lassen sollte.

Das Zimmer war im thailändischen Stil nett aber einfach eingerichtet. Bei der Klimaanlage handelte es sich um ein hineingestelltes Mobilgerät, das sehr laut war. Der eigentliche Knackpunkt waren aber die Matratzen: Sie waren "voller Leben". Unzählige Milben haben sich in unsere Haut gefressen, wir sind bis jetzt deswegen in ärztlicher Behandlung. Morgens fanden sich kleine Blutflecken auf dem Laken, die von nächtlichen Flohbissen herrührten. Ein absolutes No-go für ein Hotel.

Das Hotel liegt an einer tollen Lage und Sehenswürdigkeiten sind somit auch gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und die Reception findet man nicht gleich auf anhieb. Aber sehr freundliches Personal und hilfsbereit.

Thailändisches Flair mitten im Zentrum
Eines muss man dem Hotel lassen: die Lage ist perfekt!! Man kommt von dort überall schnell hin, die Verkehrsanbindung ist top! Einige Mankos sind leider trotzdem vorhanden: Das Hotel ist sehr unscheinbar, und man muss erstmal den Eingang finden. Die Wände in unserem Zimmer waren abgeschmiert, was dem Zimmer einen etwas ungepflegten Eindruck verleiht. Unsere Dusche ronn nicht gut ab weshalb das Bad schnell unter Wasser stand und man kann den Duschkopf nirgends montierten um darunter zu duschen, man muss ihn halten. Ein Plus ist allerdings die Badewanne.

Am ersten Abend bekam ich ein Thai-Zimmer auf der 1. Etage. Es war dunkel und hellhörig: Ich habe alles aus der Rezeption, dem Flur und die benachbarten Zimmer mitbekommen. Dazu konnte ich die Fenster nicht aufmachen und die Klimaanlage war sehr laut. Nach einem Zimmerwechsel, habe ich ein sehr ruhiges, helles Zimmer auf der 2. Etage (die Budapest-Etage) bekommen und ich fühlte mich dort sehr wohl. Es war angenehm kühl, geräumig und ich habe dort sehr gut geschlafen.

Gute Wahl
Wir hatten ein günstig gelegenes und auch ein im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes preiswertes Hotel gesucht und haben es im Adrassi auch gefunden - wir haben zwar kein "Thai"Zimmer bekommen, die waren mit jungen leuten ausgebucht - die waren dann quasi konzentriert im 1. OG - und das Hotel hatte die anderen Gäste rücksichtvoll geschont und im 2. OG untergebracht. Hotel auf zwei Stockwerken in angestaubter Gründerzeitvilla mit gr. Innenhof - und großem Zimmer mit 4,5m hohen Decken und riesigen Türen - großes Bett mit guter Matraze, jeden tag Zimmerservice und ggfs. neuen Handtüchern, Klimaanlage, Kühlschrank (sehr leise) und Straßenseite - an lauter Hauptverkehrsstraße - sehr zentral- Manko Bad-Kabine und keine Kleiderhaken, sehr kleines Waschbecken, keine Ablage. Service sehr freundlich und OK. Gerne wieder!

We had to change rooms, but it wasn't a problem as they gave us another room. We did have a slight issue with the safe, the staff were excellent in trying to solve the problem, but it could not be fixed, an alternative measure was given to us. A massive BIG thank you to Heni she was superb in giving us a lot of help in booking things and giving us her unbiased opinions in where to visit. Thank you Heni.

Service was very good. Staff was very very nice and gave excellent recommendations. The location is excellent m. Close to metro and tram stations and the Basilica. However, this was a very weird hotel. The Thai theming is….interesting. There was a giant step in our room to get up to the beds which was very annoying to go up and down, especially in the dark. The shower was awful. The grade in the bathroom did not go towards the drain and water got everywhere and I mean everywhere. Also not quiet at all, we heard sirens all night long from the busy street next to the hotel

The elevated bed is an organic feature of Thai culture. Some find it kind of romantic lik an island, unique and cool, some others not so much. We are considering removing it, based on feedbacks such as yours. We are also about to redesign showers. So thank you for your review it is a great help in our work to improve our services. Regarding the sounds of the street well, as you mentioned yourself, our hotel is in the city center, close to all must-see, and rooms with street-view, that you reserved, can be a bit more noisy than those facing toward the inner yard of the building. Althought the double-glass windows can filter out most of the noise if they are closed properly. Accueil surprenant dans un bâtiment mélangeant habitation et hôtellerie. Cependant personnel agréable avec un anglais satisfaisant. Chambre spacieuse mais manque un petit coup d'aspirateur. Salle de bain spacieuse et propre. Au final rien ne manque, sauf une isolation phonique supplémentaire aux fenêtres.

Excellent hotel, staff and location!!!
The Hotel is at an excellent location in the heart of Budapest on Andrássy Street - a very short walk to the Opera, Zeneakadémia, St. Stephen's Basilica (home of the loveliest Christmas market) and Deák Square where you can get anywhere by Metro 1, 2 or 3 as well as by trams and the Express Airport bus 100E. Upon arrival we were welcomed by the kindest receptionist possible, she was knowledgeable and most helpful -big Thank You again! The room was clean, very spacious (which you do not always get in the city centre), complementary bottles of water, tea and coffee; bathroom clean with plenty of toiletries, good hair drier. I definitely recommend this hotel, you will not be disappointed.

Literally one of the BEST hotels I’ve stayed in. Centrally located near tram/ train/ bus at walking distance. Very quiet inside which I loved. The room was spacious with high ceilings, has everything you need- water, coffee, cute toiletries, good pressure of hot water, TV and check in and out was great and quick. Loved it!! Would definitely return

Passei 3 noites em Budapeste. O hotel fica dentro de um prédio onde existem outros estabelecimentos com quartos em dois andares diferentes. Durante a estadia tiveram alguns problemas como a porta de acesso ao 2° andar e a falta de iluminação no corredor, justifica dos pelo período de reforma. A localização é perfeita, o que ficou a desejar mesmo foi o banheiro, principalmente na parte do chuveiro

Overall an acceptable stay for the prime location
Overall an acceptable stay for the prime location and price. The room was largely clean with ok furniture and linens. A/c was great to have especially in the summer heat. The bathroom however, had bobby pins on the floor on the shelf, I believe to be from the previous guest. The shower floor is on equal ground as the entire bathroom - so when you shower, the whole bathroom floor will be wet, including the toilet and sink area. Additionally, there was nothing to mount the showerhead to. Ear plugs were provided on the bed, and unsurprisingly it's not a quiet area. There's also quite a tall step, to get to the bed.
