« Clean and good service!! The breakfast Was really simple but ok. »

« First impression was the parking lot; it is rough and very uneven. We arrived at dark and there was one other person waiting to check in at the time, but no one was at the desk. She called the hotel several times with no answer and then someone finally came out to help us. I used a 3rd party site to book. The person said we had to out a card on file for incidentals, it was $100 and just a hold not a charge. We checked out before 6am the next day and left. We literally only slept, didn’t use a...

« Charles Bass is always a great place to stay. It's so tranquil and inviting. The place was clean and the entire home is beautiful. »

« I booked a room for one night for myself, my husband, and our sons. We chose a room featuring a king-size bed and a pull-out sofa. However, there was absolutely no bedding provided in the room! I had to strip the sheet off our own bed just to make up the sofa for the boys. There were also no extra pillows or blankets, and the towels were barely enough for two people... All in all, it’s a good thing we were only staying for one night! Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place. »

« The breakfast was well below the level of inexpensive local hotels. Breakfast staff was slow paced and unmotivated. We expected more on this part. TV in room wouldn't turn on. The place was beautiful and we loved the history. Met nice people. »

« I stayed 2 nights in the first night. There was a hip hop party right next to my room and I had to listen to booming base until midnight when I had an important event I was to be at the next morning. When I tried to check out, they told me that the room I stayed in was not under my name, and she could not give me my $100 incidental fee back, until they did some more research. Scheduling loud music parties until midnight and not even having the room I stayed in under my own name, is certainly bad...

« this is an ok hotel, but the reason for the low rating is that when I walked into the lobby to check in it was just like I had entered the set of a Cheech and Chong movie. the smell of p*t would knock you down it was so overwhelming. I got a buzz waiting to check in. I could smell it all the way down the hallway and around 2 corners to our room, but fortunately not in the room. I don't know who is running this hotel, but that is just unacceptable. »

« Parking ok if you got there early. Hotel is very old and it looked like it. Two trucks sitting in parking lot partially disassembled. Pooled filled with dirt. I only met two staff members. One didnt speaked good English. I will say I slept decent and warm. I stayed for the price but even 72 dollars is too much. No breakfast of any type. Just don't. »

« Good hotel for the price. I liked the refrigerator with the freezer. I was able to refreeze my ice blocks for my cooler. very spacious. good parking, close to the room I was in. good guest services. »
