« We stayed in a "POD" located in the ground. The pod was well appointed with good decor. The kitchen area contained a fridge, dishwasher, oven and hob, complete with crockery, cooking utensils and cutlery all you need for a comfortable stay. The shower room was excellent, and the bed was very comfortable too. The restaurant provided a good menu at reasonable prices. »

« The owners greeted me on arrival at this lovely guesthouse and showed me to my room. The bed was very comfortable. It is an old building so quirky room sizes but beautifully renovated and maintained. Good shower clean bathroom. Great home cooked breakfast. I would definitely stay again »

« The included breakfast was fantastic. Many options and the fresh fruit salad was good quality. Clean and useful bedroom and bathroom with comfy bed and duvet. We had 6 flights of stairs to our room which was fine and expected. The location is a long way from the seaside action but again, expected. »

« I genuinely think this hotel is just basic. For the price you would expect more better looking interior, freshness/cleanliness or service. It’s got no parking on site contrary to what they put up except street parking. The stench of old rug mixed with moisture welcomes you upon entrance, hallway small. Staff just about okay, breakfast; basic stuff you can get from any bnb setting. The only positive was the size of the room. Again we chose that cos of our family size. Sorry, it’s a no from me....

« Sadly, this was a bad experience. I booked via Expedia where the hotel was advertising a Michelin trained chef and a restaurant. I travelled solo 145 miles for a two night break purely because of this. Upon arrival, I was disappointed to learn the restaurant closed last year. I expressed this disappointment in very civil tones, explaining this was the only reason for my visit. I asked the owner Stacie if I could therefore cancel my second night and obtain a partial refund for it. Stacie agreed...

« Room was clean we were in the family room and it was very nice ! Breakfast really not worth the money , should have been included in the price of the hotel stay tbh ! Staff were very nice and efficient when checking in »

« - The shale beach across the road was the most amazing I have ever seen. - The menu is misleading. My husband wanted NO ALCOHOL beer because he is allergic to alcohol. The NO ALCOHOL beer on the menu said 0.0% alcohol. What arrived was what the waitress said was NO ALCOHOL but it actually was 0.5% alcohol. We sent it back, and I did tell the waitress the menu was incorrect and that she should mention it to management, but she did not seem interested in doing anything about it. »

« There was a complication with a Double Booking in my name & then allocated a small Twin not the Suite that it stated on Paperwork? The route to our Room was very complicated & meant we had to drag a Huge Suitcase up & down a lot of Steps!! The room was very small & obviously not cleaned very well before we got there as there was a huge empty Water Bottle left on top of the Drawers & some paperwork left by previous guests!? The Room & Bedding did have a slight damp smell which didn’t assure me it...

« Chambre exiguë, à se demander si ce n'était pas une chambre de bonne reconvertie (3 m de large sur 4 m de long), eau bouillante pour la douche à 2 reprises (2 matinées de suite) : merci pour les migraines de la journée ! Pas de wifi dans les chambres : nécessité de se rendre dans les salons et à l'accueil situés au rez de chaussée pour se connecter à internet avec smartphone et pc portable. »

Impossible de voir la vue sur la mer comme annoncé car la fenêtre est en décrépitude et la vitre opaque. Télévision non fonctionnel. Plafonds ouverts. Ne vaut pas le prix du tout. Literies neuve et propre. Hôtel avec potentiel mais non actuel et vraiment tombé en ruines. »
