« The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable, with good linen. There was plentiful hot water. The staff were all very friendly and De Rain, the owner was often around and very helpful booking trips. It had a very good kitchen. It is next to a busy road but I couldn’t hear it in my room and it didn’t affect my stay. It was so lovely being on the banks of Lake Victoria. »

« If you like bird watching and going for a walk in a pristine nature, then it is probably the best place within a short distance from Entebbe airport. The easiest way to get to Buvi Lodge is by boat from Entebbe. Ask the hotel to send a boat to pick you up at the harbour, where the ferry goes to Nakiwogo. The resort is very isolated, but you do not have to worry about being ripped for money in the restaurant. I paid 10 US$ for a big pepper steak with fries and a pint of beer. The food is tasty...
