Family Vacation

The pictures don’t do this property justice. The community is gorgeous. Easy location to get to and from the markets, beach and marina. Alex was amazing!!! You won’t be disappointed in this property!

I would come back anytime

We had a great stay, the property was as advertised l,conveniently located to a few nearby attractions. Only complaint was construction in the neighborhood that starts early and was sometimes loud or changing the aesthetics of the wonderful view that the property offers. This is a temporary problem.

FIRST TIME VISIT TO COSTA RICA

We loved our stay in Costa Rica. The first day we arrived it was pouring rain and we were hoping we would have better weather for visiting the beaches. There was so much to do for all ages in our family. Our host Alexa was very helpful. The home is beautiful (does need some minor indoor painting of the walls) and the home was well equipped. We totally enjoyed the pool too! We would definitely stay there again!

Excellent Stay

This rental was an all-around fantastic experience! The location was quiet yet conveniently close to everything we needed. The rental company was A—once we connected with them, they were incredibly responsive, providing quick assistance and even some local restaurant recommendations. Our older teens loved the pool, and we enjoyed watching movies and cooking meals together. The house was comfortable, well-equipped, and perfect for relaxing as a family. We highly recommend this property and would absolutely stay here again!

Beautiful View & Excellent Service

I didn't realize it when I booked it but we were in a gated community with a concierge who took care of all our needs. Alex was awesome! Great restaurant, tennis & pickle ball and community pool onsite. And the view was amazing! It was perfect for our family of 5. We all got our own bedroom & bathroom. Couldn't have asked for more!

Exceeded expectations

Unreal property. The photos do not do this place justice! The view was incredible and the place was immaculately clean. Kitchen had everything we needed. Alexa was extremely helpful, reliant and also went above and beyond. All of her recommendations were impeccable! We definitely will be coming back soon!!!

PERFECT house is the best part of Flamingo!

The property was perfect - very close to beaches and restaurants, nestled in the hills with beautiful views all day. Mar Vista is beautiful. We had three couples and everyone fit comfortably and had all the on-property amenities needed for a perfect getaway. All that said, what really made the trip perfect was Alex. She helped plan everything from our airport transfer (to / from), arranging a golf cart rental for the week, reservations at the Mar Vista club house, a day trip to the rainforest, half day sunset sailing cruise, deep sea fishing, and massages at the house. She is incredible! Any questions or requests she took care of instantly. We can't wait to come back!

Great stay near Playa Flamingo!

The house and view were gorgeous! Tastefully decorated. Very nice to have 3 bathrooms with 3 bedrooms, since we had 3 couples. Alexandra was quick to respond to anything that we needed, including real time directions in the dark, a great local restaurant with Costa Rican food, and dishwasher pods. Several really nice beaches were close by--5-10 min drive away. Ate dinner one night at Gracia (the restaurant right in the community, and it was great. Plus we had a brilliant sunset. Great view from the restaurant. there was ongoing construction in the community, but it wasn't a bother. We actually enjoyed watching the workman coming in the morning packed into trucks and walking up the steep hills or coming in on motorcycles.

Beyond expectations

I could not be any more happy with our choice in choosing this home. The location was perfect and the view is incredible. Each room was perfectly sized for our group of four. Each kid had their own room and were didn't use all the beds. The living room couch was also comfortable but we didn't spend too much time there as the focus is all outside next to the infinity edge pool! We enjoyed our Costa Rica coffee each morning looking out over the ocean and watching the parrots fly around squawking. We didn't see any monkeys nearby the house but could hear them each morning and night. The kitchen is nicely stocked and had we cooked it would have been easy, we decided to eat out locally each night as the restaurants are all pretty close by and a wide variety. The best part of choosing this house is that it comes with access to a concierge. We had Alexandra and she was awesome. Easy to work with, set up a lot of tours (Teo Leo coffee, turtle nesting, cateraman and horseback on the beach). All that with very little notice. She secured the reservation, got us a guide and coordinated pickup at the house when needed. Without her, we would have been lost. So many thanks to Alex! My only small negative on the house is the on going construction of the new houses next door. Luckily they provided a bluetooth speaker to bring out to the pool, so we just fired up music and soaked up the sun. The house's are almost complete, so this will be a nonissue soon.

Pura Vida!

We have the most amazing time and loved the house! Photos don’t do it justice. Comfortable home away from home! Fantastic pool to watch sunsets or just play a bit after a busy day of activities. Alex is amazing!! She helped us to plan a week full of activists that made this a vacation our family will never forget! The neighborhood was so nice! We can’t wait to return! Gracias!!

Perfect!

The pictures do not do the house (and view!!!) justice. Stunning. Alexandra from Blue Zone was incredibly responsive and helpful and kind. So many good recommendations from her and always spot on. The house is wonderful. AC in all the bedrooms and living room that works very well. And the kitchen was equipped with so much - we were able to easily cook a few dinners there. The house is super close to town (groceries, restaurants, coffee, etc.) and beaches. We could hear the howler monkeys in the forest behind the house but never saw them (can be a good or bad thing depending on your perspective :-) ) Ultimately, we spent the most time in the lovely pool. The sunsets are simply breathtaking. There were plenty of beach towels provided, some pool noodles and boogie boards to float on. Even a cooler for the beach.) I could go on and on but suffice it to say the 6 of us were super pleased with our entire Costa Rica experience and the house was no small part of that. Pura Vida!

Absolutely Wonderful!

This house looks so beautiful in the pictures, but we felt like it was even better in person! There was some construction going on in the neighborhood, but it really did not bother us at all, and we enjoyed seeing the activity. I hadn't planned to cook while we were on vacation, but the kitchen is so beautiful that I couldn't resist using it along with the gas grill outside. I loved getting up early to enjoy the sights and sounds of daybreak while relaxing by the pool. Our kids (15 and 18) loved having their own rooms and appreciated how all of the bedrooms had a view of the ocean. Alexandra was our host, and she made us feel so welcomed and well taken care of - even before we arrived! She was a great wealth of knowledge - helping us with finding the perfect restaurants and activities. She was even able to arrange for us to rent jet skis on our last full day of our trip. Our entire family loved seeing the beauty of the beaches from the perspective of the ocean. Our visit was perfect. I hope to be able to return someday. Thank you!
