Couple pf Americans first trip to CR

This property has the most amazing views two beautiful pools and it is very quiet. You do need to have a car to navigate the area but as long as you're comfortable renting a car this is an incredible place to stay on the coast close to everything but very much, secluded, quiet, and relaxing!

Perfection

The moment I walked in the door, I knew it was beyond my expectations. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything you could possibly need. We were able to do laundry and prepare meals. Our family with 2 teen age boys had plenty of room to relax both inside and on the balconies. Speaking of, the photos can not do it justice. The sound of the waves, birds, along with the ocean breeze was so relaxing. The location is perfect and the manager responded within minutes if I had a question. We did have a 4x4 and, as previous reviews mention, the road is steep and unpaved so I am happy we had it. Covered parking under the building was a plus, as is the elevator which is handy bc it’s on the 3rd floor. I would not hesitate to stay in the exact unit again. It was difficult to leave. Highly recommend!

The condo was absolutely beautiful. Wonderfully decorated and very well stocked. This was our second time to Flamingo towers, first time in this unit. We absolutely love the complex with all it has to offer (especially the views!). We would definitely stay again if it were available on our next trip.

Bad Experience, Beautiful Property

Our recent stay in Playa Flamingo was a mix of delights and disappointments. The property owners have truly excelled in creating a beautifully decorated space with spectacular views. However, our experience was marred by a dead air conditioning unit upon arrival. Communication with Krain company, who manages the property, proved extremely challenging, consuming our entire stay. Eventually, Alejandro from Krain found us alternate accommodation upstairs, though not nearly as nice as our original unit as well as a dangerous balcony that flooded with every rain. Our frustration peaked when Krain promised a refund for two nights due to the inconvenience but only refunded us for one night. Subsequent attempts to reach them have been met with silence. This situation significantly detracted from what would have otherwise been a five-star stay. While we understand that such issues can arise, effective communication and follow-through are crucial in hospitality.

Sadly we went during a Tropical Storm but it was still very amazing! The views were amazing and Tony such great help throughout the trip. The only downside to our trip was the construction on the last day and the muddy road but those were minor things. The beds were so comfy. The living spaces were fantastic. Very amazing would stay here again!

Lovely condo

The condo had a spectacular view! It was very modern, beautifully furnished, and had everything we needed. It was spotlessly clean, and we appreciated the extras like pool towels, beach chairs, and bottled water. We had trouble with the door code when we first arrived, and literally got calls from the owner, the concierge, and the management company within 3-5 minutes. Their responsiveness was better than any other place I have stayed. Other reviewers may mention the steep dirt road get to the condo. It’s not that bad, but an all-wheel drive vehicle is highly recommended. This was a great choice, and made our Costa Rican vacation fun!

20th Anniversary Trip

Views were amazing. The peace and privacy also amazing. Very comfortable! Enjoyed watching the monkeys from the balcony. Fairly steep dirt road to get to the condo, would recommend a 4wd vehicle, we managed fine in ours.

Smoking Hot!

OK - there was a controlled fire burn the last couple days of our stay which smoked us out. We did have issue with checking in with the wrong code, however, the management company was very responsive and corrected the issue almost immediately. Upon entering, the kitchen counter had crumbs and the bathroom seemed like it had been used. The lanais also had fleas, although we did not see any indoors. The view from the lanai and condo was amazing. The condo is situated between Brasilito and Playa Flamingo on a quiet bluff. There were a few long-term residents, but mostly seemed like a quiet complex with few visitors. Even with the issues noted above, would stay again if in Playa Flamingo.

Sunshine on a hilltop

We spent five nights at this wonderful condo. It was the perfect place for our family to have a low key vacation but still get out and experience the beaches and close towns in the area. Having a kitchen was nice to make a meal or two when we didn't want to go out. Highly recommend getting a rental car so you can get around as it is not easy to walk to nearby areas. Concierge was very helpful with airport transportation, activities and a rental car. We are very happy with our time at the Flamingo Towers!

Costa Rican Adventure

Property was perfect...clean, comfortable beds, AC worked well and plenty of hot water for all of us to shower. We spent many mornings and evenings on the balcony as it had an amazing view with sounds of the ocean waves. Close proximity to excursions and dining. Krain was a huge help in arranging the excursions on short notice. Because the property is perched on a steep hill with dirt roads, golf carts are not an option for getting around, thus car rental is a must. We needed the larger size vehicle for our group so rented a Toyota Fortuner (US equivalent of a 4-runner). Parking was doable but a bit tight so would recommend a bit smaller vehicle. FYI I was a bit nervous about driving in a foreign country but it was not a problem at all). We all had a great first-time experience in Costa Rica and plan to return for a longer stay at the Towers!

Beautiful condo, Amazing location

Our condo was in pristine condition, very clean, very quiet and close to everything. Easy and clear instructions emailed to me by management. I do not recommend walking as you’re on a dirt road and there are some loose cattle and lots of dust when people drive by; if you don’t mind this, it is close enough to walk to the beach and restaurants. The home itself is lovely, very well stocked. The view and the pool both are amazing. Elevators worked great. Attendants on site very helpful. I did email questions about the sailing center that were never answered by Krain, but no matter, I just showed up to sailing center and told them where we were staying and they honored the discount as advertised. Would definitely recommend this condo and we will return.

A Slice of Heaven

When we read the other reviews, we knew we wanted to stay at Flamingo Towers. It sounded absolutely perfect and it was. It exceeded our expectations on all levels. The view absolutely cannot be beat and the condo itself had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

The property itself was outstanding! Excellent views and close to shopping/beach area. The pools were very nice as well. Communications with Krain regarding check in were lacking. I reached out several times and kept hearing the property manager will reach out to you 2-3 days before check in. I heard from them less than 24 hours before check in time after I left messages/emails. It was to the point where I was starting to search for other places to stay. Also it is advertised that there is a sailing club membership. We went there, had dinner and tried to use the card only to learn it was expired.

Exactly as advertised. Close to beaches and incredible views. Property is well appointed and well stocked. Very clean and everything was in great working order. Outside the property is meticulously maintained including the pools. Covered parking is a nice bonus. Check in/out is very easy. Will definitely book this property again.

Amazingly beautiful and relaxing

Our ten day stay at Corona del Mar was just what our family was looking for in a vacation. The unit is so lovely and relaxing on the balcony with that incredible view is breathtaking. We explored the area, shopped in Tamarindo, visited Diamante Eco Park and the hike in the Rincon de la Vieja volcano forest is a must. When we were not eating at several great restaurants, we cooked in the well stocked kitchen at the unit. Thanks to Tony our concierge for assistance during our stay, Costa Rica is an incredible place to visit.

Beautiful quiet Oasis in near Playa Flamingo

WOW! What an amazing condo. The view alone is worth the trip but the condo is also adorable decorated making you feel very relaxed and in the ultimate vacay mode! Looking forward to coming back soon.

The view is breath taking, in the middle of playa hermosa and tamarindo Beach. One of my favorite things there was there decoration the color makes the place so relaxing. Died and gone to heaven.

The condo was fantastic. Beautiful decor, everything you would need to enjoy your vacation. Amazing views, great location, wonderful pools. The pictures of the views from the porches are representative of the gorgeous views. We would definitely rent again if visiting the area. Each room had big TV with cable. The wifi internet was fast as well. We went during the off season right after Labor Day in September. This is the time to go. There was virtually no one at the pool, nor hardly anyone at restaurants. Do yourself a favor and check out the beach nearby where there are daily great sunsets. To access that beach just hang a left on the first dirt road when driving up to the condo. Also if you want some great snorkeling look up Penca Beach near Hermosa Beach. Another great local spot was Playa Mina. Finally, mind the speed traps. We got stopped on 155 and had to pay the traffic cop $35. Watch the speed limit. Unfortunately, they were only stopping tourists and wanted money without issuing a ticket. We found out from locals later that day that this was completely illegal. Bummer way to end what was a great visit.
