„My partner and I spent a week at the White Cottage... aka Ginger & Cacao. It was exactly what we were looking for and needed. The property really is carved out of the jungle and the gardens surrounding the cottage are absolutely beautiful. „We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Mariposa. Sharon is a wonderful host - she prepared us early with tips for restaurants and area activities. She was very responsive, communicating and responding quickly and thoughtfully. The house is perfect. We especially enjoyed the hammock! It was well appointed to make meals, relax, etc. We used the bikes and appreciated the beach towels. Definitely reserving again!“

„No ac, no hot water, the directions were written by an idiot, filthy, the “shower” is dangerous and not worth the risk, the tub is disgusting and both would be in freezing water. The floor would be more comfortable than the bed. No privacy. The owner of the property can not communicate and when he does he lies. „A wonderful place to spend your vacation. A nice cottage with a great garden. The biodiversity in the garden is in no way inferior to that of the surrounding nature. The beach (Playa negra) is 100-200 meters away. The national park with its Playa Blanca is a bit further away...walkable but a car (or taxi) would be an advantage. As a host, Troy is very nice, helpful and, as a direct neighbor, is usually very close by when help is needed. Highly Recommended!“

"Tolles Hotel um sich zu entspannen und das Meer zu genießen. Die Zimmergebäude liegen im Hotel eigenen Jungle. Auf dem Hotelareal haben wir Faultiere, Affen, Agutis etc. gesehen. Obwohl die Zimmer auf der einen Seite der Hauptstrasse und das Restaurant und der Pool/Strand auf der anderen Seite liegen, ist es sehr ruhig und stellte für uns kein Problem dar. Auf Wunsch wird das Zimmer täglich gereinigt. Das Frühstück ist MO-FR à la carte, SA/SO gibts Buffet. Das Essen war immer frisch und Lecker. Wir können diesen Hotel sehr empfehlen!!!"
