Grüne Anlage in Strandnähe mit einigen Abstrichen

Freundlicher, hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, der uns viele Tipps und Wanderkarten zur Erkundung der Region bereitgestellt hat. Die Anlage befindet sich im Grünen in Strandnähe, allerdings wird die Ruhe durch den nahen Highway stark beeinträchtigt. Küchenzeile inkl. Geschirr waren dreckig und es gab Ungeziefer (Kakerlaken).

Lovely getaway from the world

We were greeted like old friends and enjoyed a lovely time staying at the Clifton Beach Retreat. The accommodation is clean and comfortable. Although a kind of B and B set up, guests have privacy aswell. Drive to Cairns took 25 mins or so depending on traffic but it was lovely to have the option to also visit Palm Cove easily from our accommodation aswell. Would definitely recommend and return ourselves. The owners are just lovely people.

peaceful and relaxing

Made feel very welcome to the lovely unit. Everything supplied for a comfortable stay. Alix and Perce were great hosts and assisted to book dinner out. Comfortable bed and good bathroom facilities. Would stay again but longer next time.

Perfect location...quiet , close to beach

Stayed here in August to escape Victorian cold weather and were not disappointed. Perfect conditions for us...warm during the day and cooling off at night. Lovely residential area meant a quiet holiday. Friendly hosts. Very personalized accommodation Easy to do day trips to Cairns. Kuranda and Port Douglas

Relaxing retreat

Wonderful hosts, great breakfast and a tranquil relaxing place to stay that was so much nicer than a unit or hotel room. Close to the beach. Highly recommended

Elegant and comfortable simplicity.

Tranquil sanctuary in a great location. It was great to find a quiet corner away from the tourist hype but still (with a car) convenient to access all Cairns and the area has to offer. We spent a week in Clifton beach and had a hire car to explore the area which is more cost effective than booking tours and gives more flexibility. Palm Cove is close and has some good restaurants. We were out and about everyday but this was nice and easy to place to come back to. Much more space and privacy than a motel or resort.

Retreat is the perfect name ... loved sitting on the balcony looking onto the bush and its wildlife. The bbq area was great. Thanks to Alix and Perce for sharing such a beautiful spot

A nice, clean place, 1 block off Clifton Beach. Wonderful deck overlooking the pool and jungle. The hosts Alix and Pierce are great and helpful.

Clifton Beach B&B

I only stayed a couple of nights but was very impressed by my stay. this isn't a five star hotel - but it is a five star experience. If you want to stay quite inexpensively in the highly desirable Northern beaches of Cairns and have a different experience to the one you would have at the other accommodation in the area. Natural bush land abounds around simple but clean rooms. the B&B owners, Alix and Perce were friendly and maintained and happy and unobtrusive presence on the premises. I would certainly stay there again.
