Pros: food was pretty good, close to the beach
Cons: "all inclusive" should be called "partially inclusive" and most staff just had no desire to be accommodating. Received a flat "no" for simple requests so many times. Some examples of my unreasonable demands,
- a glass of water: was at breakfast, admittedly a bit late but staff let us in and all I wanted was some toast. "no breakfast is over."
- a cup of coffee: "no, we cannot serve all-inclusive guests at this time."
- a basket of fries: ditto the above
- being seated for dinner: wife and I were waiting on line for dinner, wife stepped away to go to the bathroom. "no we can't seat you without the full party, go to the back of the line now"
- a beer at the beach bar: "no, we cannot serve all-inclusive guests at the beach bar, go back inside"
other random things I disliked:
- wifi was down for nearly the entire trip (8 out of 10 days)
- bathroom had no ventilation
- bedroom was tiny
- requested full and twin beds and got 3 twins instead
- various advertised amenities such as fridge and safe need to be requested and upcharged.
- cooling system barely does anything unless you leave it on full blast all day/night
FWIW the younger staff members were great and tried to be accommodating, I guess their training hasn't sunk in yet.
