« Wir verbrachten zu viert (2 PĂ€rchen) vier Wochen im Dezember/Januar in der Unterkunft. Sie lag ziemlich zentral in dem kleinen StĂ€dtchen Punta do Pargo und HĂ€user befinden sich direkt drum rum, das sah von den Bildern her abgeschiedener aus. Der obere Bereich mit KĂŒche, Ess- und Wohnzimmer ist gerĂ€umig, nur leider sehr dunkel. Der obere Bereich mit der Couch war sehr dreckig und die Möbel abgenutzt. Generell war schon sehr viel in die Jahre gekommen, Matratze, Sofa, kaputte Kaffeemaschine

Admittedly driving on Madeira Island can be surprising because of the narrow roads and fast speeds the locals drive. I was a little nervous trying to find the location but once I understood how to open the gate to the property I was amazed by even the driveway. « We had a wonderful stay at Between the Sea and Mountains! The home was cozy with so much character. We enjoyed cooking on the BBQ outside in the little courtyard and in the kitchen, it had everything we needed. We loved ending our days on the balcony overlooking the ocean and mountain reflecting on the amazing day we had hiking. We would 100% recommend staying here! »

« Doesn’t have an oven or grill as listed. BBQ which is listed is broken. Makes it difficult when you stock up on the way expecting these things. A few small things like no ironing board (there js one listed) so had to ask for one to be delivered. Small things like no bin bags provided (even though you can’t flush toilet roll so need them). No information provided regarding how difficult it is to get a taxi back in the evening - twice a taxi from town couldn’t make it all the way back due to steep...
