„Loved it and can’t wait to return! The view is gorgeous—amazing sunsets and, in the morning, Varenna is lit up by the sun. The patio is also right next to an old waterfall/fountain ruin type of thing that is lit up at night and it’s stunning. The inside of the apartment is also fantastic and we loved the very large bathtub and the rain shower heads. A few things to know—it IS the penthouse so there are quite a bit of outside stairs to get to the apartment. It wasn’t really a problem for us but ...

„The property was very nice and the check in process was easy. It would be good to have a car because Uber and car share services do not work in Varenna. The taxi service is a little sporadic and expensive. The train station is a long walk as is town. The view was great with plenty of space. I would rent here again but only if i had a car“

„Took the train/bus to Varenna from Milan. Check in was a short walk from bus stop. Apartment was a perfect location for our visit. Public dock was right outside the apartment. Ferry was a 10 minute walk. Apartment was spacious and nice. “

„The stay was very enjoyable and relaxing. Most descriptions were adequate and we found what we expected. Some problems with the water supply were promptly repaired after we informed the owner (Thanks to him - overcoming some language barriers!). The only aspect which was less ideal was the description of the way to get there. The description could be improved as we arrived late in the dark and therefore pathfinding was a bit confusing. It should be mentioned that the streets are not paved at ...

„Great house. Great space both indoors and outdoors. Great location. Each bedroom with its own bathroom. Perfect for family of 4 or 5. Lack of A/C tough when very hot. My suggestions would be some window covers (so easier to sleep in) and get some nicer outdoor furniture so guests can take better advantage of the 2 terraces which are quite lovely.“

„Wir waren als Familie mit unserem Hund bei Silvia und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vor Ort leben 3 Hunde, die gut über alles wachen. Die Ferienwohnung nimmt die obere Etage des Hauses ein, ist sauber und praktisch eingerichtet. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse ist absolut traumhaft! Silvia ist eine sehr herzliche und liebe Gastgeberin. Sie hat uns gezeigt, wo wir vom Haus aus direkt mit dem Hund spazieren gehen konnten und half bei Bedarf immer mit Rat und Tat.“
