Zimmer doppelt verbucht
Wir hatten mit 4 erwachsenen ein 2 Queen Bett Zimmer gebucht. Beim einchecken wurden mir auch Schlüssel für ein 2 Queen Bett Zimmer überreicht. Nachdem wir unsere Dinge aus dem Auto geholt hatten und auf unser Zimmer gehen wollten, wurden wir informiert das unser Zimmer doppelt gebucht wurde und wir nun ein Zimmer mit kleineren Betten bekommen würden. Wir waren sehr enttäuscht und empört da wir dieses Zimmer schon einen Monat im Voraus gebucht hatten und uns nach einer langen Reise einfach entspannen wollten. Wir bekamen als wieder gutmachung einen 10% discount bei einem Frühstücksrestaurant, jedoch waren wir sehr enttäuscht da wir schon öfters in diesem Hotel übernachtet hatten und nie ein Problem hatten.

Property was clean, room was nice. Small pillows on the bed and our room backed onto the train line so a little noisey and we were beside the elevator. We were only there for a night so all good.

When I booked says stay by the railway view, they gave us the opposite instead the road view, to many noisy people passed by our room in the middle of the night and stomped by the second floor.

The room was clean and the front desk staff courteous. The buffet breakfast was also better than expected, good value for money. The building and decor is quite dated, it feels like time travel back to the 70s-80s, but the location was convenient and the bed comfortable. Overall a decent stay for the money.

The room had a bad smell to it and the toilet didn’t flush and the sink didn’t drain. The pillows were horrible and the room was way too hot. There was a scum build up in the hot tub as well

Kids loved the pool and this was our expectation in coming here. The rooms as much as they are newly renovated, the style looks old due to the color selections and the pictures. Brighter lighting option in the washrooms could make the space more attractive. Otherwise they seem small in there compared to other hotels.

This hotel is clean but dated . The doors , walls and bathrooms could use a touch up. Overall had a good stay with my kids. The pool was great, clean. We could easily walk and have access to main downtown shopping and restaurants.

Certainly affordable and great to have a hotel willing to accept pets. That being said, not easy to get in and out with pets from the 2nd floor and they lock the outer doors of the West building at 10, so I had to walk through the whole hotel if I took my dog out after that. My window had a big crack in the glass; not an issue for me, but could easily be a big problem anytime. Climate control was TERRIBLE. It was super hot in the building; most guests had their windows wide-open, and when I cranked the cool air fan it was loud and scratchy sounding all night. And despite knowing about the train bring right behind, it was still even louder than I imagined and at all hours. Not a comfortable or restful stay, unfortunately.

Simple lodging option close to Banff. The train going by causes a lot of noise, disturbs sleep so definitely bring earplugs. The fumes from the hot tub were bothering our eyes but otherwise we enjoyed the pool and water slide area. I would stay again if on a budget

To all fairness, late winter and early spring is always dirty and makes annoying look unkept. The building does need some renovations, but nothing over the top. It was a little noisier than expected (train railway a few meters away), but it didn’t bother us at all. Overall, very good experience!

The water slide and pool area was great. I also enjoyed the coffee/tea station and Nintendo switch in the common area. The staff were lovely and our room was clean and nice. The location was great as it was walking distance to everything we wanted to get to. Only downside was the train noise, it’s not bad if you’re a deep sleeper but if not some ear plugs might be a good idea.
