Close to Beach

The property was clean, well-maintained, and easy to access. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free. While we did encounter a minor issue with ants and fruit flies, the kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, and utensils, which allowed us to prepare meals without much inconvenience. Toward the end of our stay, the hot water stopped working. The property manager was responsive, kept us updated via text, and made efforts to resolve the issue—even offering to extend our stay a few hours—though it proved difficult to fix quickly due to it being a Friday evening.There was some noise from nearby parties, but this seemed unrelated to the property itself and didn’t detract significantly from our experience. Overall, it was a peaceful and relaxing place to stay, with thoughtful amenities like in-unit laundry, a well-equipped kitchen, and a lovely balcony that made for the perfect spot to enjoy morning coffee and watch the sunrise.

Great property in a great location! For the first time the pictures didn't do the property justice. It was much bigger than we expected. Beautiful renovations as well. Very clean and comfortable. Will definitely be back!

Location was perfect and easily accessible. Only downside was the elevator was not operational. Lots of extras to make the visit fun (beach chairs, fishing poles) Overall a perfect getaway!

Enjoy Cape Charles

The condo is very cute with a wonderful kitchen. Very clean with a nice deck. Be aware that the deck faces out over a back alley. The only water view is from the deck on the roof, which is spectacular! The location is wonderful. You can walk to everything and all over the town. Beach is just down the street. The condo is between two buildings so both bedrooms look out at a brick wall. Lots of games provided. The bikes really don't work. Love the town and enjoyed great food.

Absolute best appointed rental kitchen I have ever seen. The only negative was the door to the condo. It was VERY difficult to open when locked. Had to play around with different ways to find the spot that actually opened the door. This was extremely frustrating as it did take awhile. Would stay there again, but only if the keypad which is on the door was programed instead of dealing with that wonky key.

Loved this sweet comfy place. Clean and nice decor. Were not able to get to roof top balcony but decided may be too many steps. We really had a nice time celebrating my husbands birthday. From Roxboro NC and always wanted to go through Chesapeake Tunnel. Lovely beach, good food. Hope to go back again. LOVED IT...

Great location

If you want a great location with walking access to downtown Cape Charles, then this is the place. We arrived in town and easily found the place following the directions we were given. The condo was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. Lots of thoughtful touches, those details set Cape Haven apart from just another condo. Would definitely recommend and looking forward to staying there again!

Great location and apartment

Our family had a great stay at Cape Haven during spring break. The location could not be better, 1.5 blocks from the beach and on the Main Street of Cape Charles so we could easily walk to restaurants and shops. It was chilly and rainy for part of our stay and we were very thankful for all of the games provided in the apartment.

Pleasant stay in charming Cape Charles

Spotlessly clean and comfortable condo on the Main Street in Cape Charles. Two comfortable bedrooms , one having a large bunk bed - my niece found she couldn’t sit upright on the top bunk and the ladder was too vertical for comfort so she slept with her mom on the bottom bunk. The other bedroom and bed were most comfortable. Good quality bed linen and towels. The condo was very well equipped. Within easy walking distance of the beach and all the shops and cafĂ©s. It was too hot to use the veranda/porch but it looked lovely and has comfortable furniture. The kitchen is spacious and has all you may need in terms of crockery and cutlery etc.lots of spices and oils for cooking, and utensils. Stay here, you won’t be disappointed!

We love this little town where we can walk to everything, even the fishing pier, and beach. This apartment is the best. Large, sunny, and bright, with great amenities, including an easy-access elevator that enables me to go and come as I please on my little mobility scooter.
