Start your morning with coffee overlooking the canal, spend the afternoon relaxing in the heated pool, fishing, kayaking or exploring the surrounding waterways, then unwind in the screened lanai at the end of the day.

The outdoor area is one of the highlights of the home. Enjoy the heated pool, shallow sun shelf, shaded seating area and peaceful canal views. Keep an eye on the water because guests have spotted dolphins, manatees, cownose rays and many different types of birds right from the property.

Boaters are welcome. There is waterfront space available to tie up alongside the existing boat lift. The boat lift itself is occupied and is not available for guest use. Previous guests have successfully brought and tied up their boats at the property. A public boat ramp is less than a mile away, and there is a stone area in the front yard for boat trailer parking.

Publix, restaurants and everyday necessities are nearby. The restaurants, shops and laid back atmosphere of Matlacha are just a short drive away, with Pine Island, Cape Coral and other Southwest Florida attractions also within easy reach.

Whether you are coming to boat, fish, kayak, explore the area, or simply relax by the pool, this is a comfortable place to slow down and enjoy Florida.

The Space

The home features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, an open living and dining area, a bright sunroom and plenty of indoor and outdoor space to relax.

The primary bedroom features a comfortable king bed and private ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed with convenient access to the guest bathroom. A sofa bed provides additional sleeping space.

The fully equipped kitchen features updated countertops, tile backsplash and stainless steel appliances, with everything you need to prepare meals at home.

The living and dining areas provide a comfortable place to relax, read or enjoy a movie. The sunroom is another great spot for morning coffee or quiet time overlooking the outdoor area.

Step outside to the screened lanai and heated pool for your private use. The pool includes a shallow sun shelf that is great for relaxing and especially enjoyable for families with younger children. Children should always be closely supervised around the pool and waterfront.

There is shaded outdoor seating where you can relax out of the Florida sun, as well as a Flat Top grill for outdoor meals.

For guests who enjoy the water, we provide two kayaks with life jackets and fishing rods. Fish along the canal or take the kayaks out and explore the surrounding waterways.

One designated owner storage area located off the primary bedroom is locked and is not available for guest use. The remainder of the home and guest areas are yours to enjoy.

Bringing a Boat?

Boaters are welcome. There is waterfront space available to tie up alongside the existing boat lift. The boat lift itself is occupied and is not available for guest use.

Previous guests have successfully brought and tied up their boats at the property. Because boats vary in size and configuration, please keep the waterfront setup in mind when planning your stay.

A public boat ramp is located less than a mile from the house, making launching and retrieving your boat convenient. The stone area in the front yard provides space for boat trailer parking.

Once your boat is in the water, you can leave it tied up at the property rather than launching it each day.

Enjoy the Outdoors

The outdoor space is a big part of what makes this home special. Start the morning with coffee by the canal, spend the day swimming, kayaking, fishing or boating, and relax in the screened lanai in the evening.

Fire up the Flat Top grill for dinner and enjoy a quiet evening by the water.

Wildlife is part of the experience. Depending on the day and season, you may see dolphins, manatees, cownose rays, fish and a variety of Florida birds from the property.

Bring your favorite fishing gear or use the fishing rods provided at the house.

Enjoy a peaceful canal setting without being far from the things you need. Publix, restaurants, shopping and everyday necessities are nearby.

Matlacha is just a short drive away, where you will find waterfront restaurants, shops and the colorful laid back atmosphere the area is known for. Pine Island and Cape Coral are also conveniently accessible.

Golf courses, beaches, boating, fishing, kayaking, restaurants and other Southwest Florida attractions are all within driving distance.
