The house itself is nice. Great location on a point. Clean with some nice updates (ceiling fans throughout, updated kitchen and bathrooms). Light switches were labeled - which was very helpful. Unfortunately, the house isn't properly equipped with necessities. There were no towels in the master bathroom at all - and only a handful in the second bathroom. The pool heat was set lower than they list in the welcome packet - and the heater wasn't even on. There are no instructions on operating the pool heat. Very few glasses and plates. Very few pillows and the pillow cases and sheets were like paper. There are no pool floats or toys. It really is such a nice and clean house, lanai, and location - but it doesn't make for a comfortable stay when basics are not supplied. A dining table inside the house, some outdoor furniture at the tiki hut, some throw blankets, some pool/beach items, a properly heated pool, and enough towels and dishes would make this house wonderful. This is also the first time we have rented a house with Roelens management and it was overwhelming. We booked, paid, completed the contract, and provided necessary ID, but we still were contacted several dozen times (over a dozen emails in one day, texts, and phone calls with vague "call us back" voicemails). We have stayed at comparable houses in the immediate area that were much more comfortable. With so many other options, we wouldn't stay at this house again without improvements.
