What we wanted

2 teens both had their own room and bathroom. We spent our evenings in the pool and spa hot tub. Typical amenities are close by and we just enjoyed our family time here. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Beautiful setting, quiet neighborhood, great view on the canal. Walking on flat neighborhood streets was appreciated. Great pool. We would have liked to have had better quality bed pillows & sheets.

Wonderful Stay!

We loved the house and the location! It is near to our favorite restaurants and on the corner of two canals. Jana was very responsive to our needs. She went above and beyond with the few items we asked of her. The house was clean, well appointed and very comfortable. We will definitely consider staying here again.

Villa Heidi - Cape Coral

Beautiful canal front property in Cape Coral. House is well equipped and offers everything needed for a relaxing stay! The pool/hot tub were amazing! Our host Jana was very responsive and a great communicator. Highly recommend this property.

Fun trip to the sun!

This was a very enjoyable stay! The pool and hot tub were very clean and we loved being able to control the temperature The location was quiet and beautiful on the canal. The neighbor hood was great to walk around and we enjoyed checking on the burrowing owls. Overall excellent stay!

Host asked to drop by between 9:30 & 11:00 am on our first morning. By 11:00 as she hadn’t arrived we texted her & asked her to keep the appointment she had made as we had noticed a bad review & wanted to be sure that all was in order. Her biggest concern was to have us sign a contract about electricity. She said we were allowed $10 a day & assured us that it was more than adequate for 2 people as long as we did not touch the ‘heated’ pool thermostat & air conditioner which we did not. Very smelly garbage was left in the garage which she said she would take - she did not - the smell in the laundry room because of the garbage was disgusting. We had to put the last renters garbage out with ours on the next garbage day. Before we left I redid the laundry that had been left in the washing machine & did 2 loads of towels. I pride myself on being a good VRBO renter & left the place in excellent condition. All of these things are minor but when we arrived home we got a charge for extra electricity that we had used. We were 2 people in a 3 bedroom house & never touched a thermostat. The write up for this VRBO property is deceptive - as it indicated ‘heated pool ‘ ‘included’. We have been using VRBO for years & this is the first time I have written a bad review. Very disappointed in the ‘nickel & dime approach

Excellent Vacation Rental

Villa Heidi was very clean, and the pool and spa worked wonderfully. The space is perfect for relaxation. The wifi worked well and the kitchen was well stocked with appliances, cutlery, and pots and pans. We stayed a month and enjoyed every day of it. If there were any problems, Jana was very responsive. Cape Coral continues to repair itself, but all the restaurants we wanted to go to were open and ready for business. The bicycles were nice to have as well as the kayaks. Kayaking the canals was very enjoyable. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors are friendly too. We took many walks and talked to people along the way. Another benefit is that any shopping that needs to be done is within 15 minutes usually. We will stay here again.

Lock on door very old difficult to get in. Towels were old. Didn’t have trash bags or enough toilet paper. Pool area and pool was very good. Was very surprised to know they reset the electric meter and they charge you for the electricy you use, what did our money go towards. It was a little disappointing.

Lovely home, great location!

Villa Heidi is a lovely home. The outdoor space is wonderful as well with a great view of the Cape Coral canals. The house is very clean and the pool was sparkling. Jana, the property manager was wonderful to work with. The neighborhood was very quiet but there are plenty of stores and restaurants just a short car ride away. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation.

We loved this property. Check in was flawless. We walked in to a very clean home with a gorgeous waterfront view. The salt water pool was very clean. We are returning to this property next year! The property managers are so friendly and responsive. Highly recommend.

Take pictures when you arrive

I'll summarize this short and sweet. The house was as advertised in the pictures and descriptions. The master toilet was a little bit janky and you had to play with the handle to get it to flush properly. We only really had a couple issues with the property manager. I think we got off on the wrong foot - we arrived with 6 and we did not realize that the house was supposed to only have 5 maximum despite 3 bedrooms. We had my wife, myself, and our two children along with a family friend and their boyfriend. She straightened it out and we paid the difference and all seemed fine. However, we had one accident while staying there. We broke the handle off the sliding glass door. In fairness, this handle was loose when we got there. We did our best to fix it but I guess it broke the first time someone else tried to use it. Oh well, we told them we would pay for it. Also while staying there, we super glued two chess pieces back together which were broken before we arrived. The chess board and pieces were also very dusty and we cleaned them off. I guess the point I'm making is that we're decent people... not disrespectful... we tried to leave it as clean as we found it. However, after we checked out, we received several pictures of broken things and we were blamed for them. A broken chair by the pool - we didn't even use those chairs. They were off in the corner away from the hot tub. Never once did we even go over there. Also, a broken screen and a broken statue. We never noticed the screen was broken so we were dumbfounded on that one. The real issue with the statue happened because we were there on Christmas and we moved the statue a little bit because we had Christmas presents piling up around the tree and didn't want it to get knocked over - it was in a bad spot. This statue had a broken piece set neatly in place that when we moved it, the piece fell off. We didn't think anything of it and just put it back with the status - assuming that it was already known to be broken. With all the said, take plenty of pictures if you stay here because the property manager will blame anything they find on you - regardless if it is your fault or not. They do not do a walk around or anything like that when you arrive so it's really on you to make sure that nothing is broken or malfunctioning when you arrive.

Relaxing in Paradise

The house was large and very comfortable. We enjoyed the beautiful view of the canals in the backyard and also the pool/hot tub. It was very relaxing every morning watching the boats go by. We would definitely consider staying there again. Jana was very friendly and easy to work with.

Awesome Corner Lot

Very nice home on corner lot. I read reviews on everything so I like to be honest as to maybe give the owner/renter any suggestions. There were really only 2 things I could mention. 1st, I think it may be beneficial to have a couple more frying pans/skillets, and 2nd, a few more washcloths for showers as well as kitchen washcloths. Other than that, we had everything we needed. Thank you!
