Colorado Fly Fishing Trip

The property was well put together and all that we needed was on site. Rooms were great, however, there was no a/c and it was needed for our entire trip. It took a long time to cool off the house and sleeping areas with just fans. The property was also way farther away from Carbondale than posted. An outdoor grill would be nice. Otherwise the property suited our needs for the stay.

Carbondale Retreat with friends

Overall the property and stay was good. Check-In was very easy. The property does have odds and ends cooking utensils but if you are planning on cooking a lot I would recommend bring some of your own. The house is in a beautiful location.

Updated and spacious house, beautiful views

Really sweet and comfy home with all the necessary amenities. Beds were nice and the radiant floor was a nice bonus on the cool mornings. Nicely landscaped and pretty views. Spacious kitchen and lots of dining space. Comfy tv area seating was limited to 4 people and fireplace wasnt working but the place gets thumbs up from us.

Beautiful property in the Crystal River Valley

Immaculate home 20 minutes from downtown Carbondale on the Crystal river. Very communicative and welcoming hosts. Highly recommend.

Good house

The house was what we needed, the river is right in the yard over a small hill, very nice. Trash in garage with no cans is a big issue other than that house was clean. Older so some damage to windows but nothing we couldn't work with. Nice large porch for relaxing. Easy to get to and good location.

Lackey Bunch 2022 Summer Vacay!!

This property was just perfect for our needs. Clean and Comfortable... we had everything we needed. Carbondale and Glenwood Springs were just down the road which made it easy to get to our adventures (horseback riding, rafting, Glenwood Adventure Park, lots of restaurants and shopping). We would definitely recommend this rental to our friends and family.

Wonderful Graduation Weekend

6 of us stayed 4nights for our granddaughter’s high school graduation. It was excellent; a very spacious 3 bedroom home with a huge kitchen and deck overlooking the Crystal River. Perfect for entertaining.

This was not worth the money…

Hello, I just checked out from this place and was a bit underwhelmed to be honest. There was about 15 bags of trash just sitting with moldy food in them in a pile when we arrived. They never left. There wasn’t a single extra roll of toilet paper in the house and the ones that were there when we arrived were already half used. The bed in the basement was extremely rickety and loud. The driveway wasn’t shoveled at all and it was extremely difficult to get out of… Would not recommend unless they make this right.

Perfect for us!

This property was perfect for us. It was almost everything as listed online except the master tub/shower. That may have been a nice feature but in the scheme of things, not a big deal. Bathrooms and kitchen were all clean. There weren't a lot of towels- we read the reviews and came prepared. There was an abundance of dishwasher and laundry detergent and dishes and linens were all clean. The sheets are worn and in the master bedroom had a small hole. The quilt had a larger hole. Again, not deal breakers- they were clean. Just worn. The patio lounge chairs are in need of repair and nothing outside was clean but I can understand the challenges there. The home is spacious, conveniently located and the stars at night are remarkable! The flower gardens on the property and around it are beautiful.

Great Spot!

Loved our stay here! Great, private location and the house was just what we needed for our family. Extra bonus - fire ban had been lifted so we were able to use the fire pit for s'mores.

Nice quiet spot along the river!

We rented this home as a prep for camping. We enjoyed a quiet, secluded home where we could watch the kids play in the backyard. We plan to rent the home next year but in reverse order!

Nice House Along the River - Needs some issues addressed

We just stayed here for six days and as many have noted, there are supply issues at this property. There are virtually no towels in the house and no extra sets of bedding, no dishwashing detergent and no garbage bags. Some have noted cleanliness issues - we felt it was very clean when we arrived. There are some maintenance issues with the house as well. There is a piece of siding ripped off the side of the house and the balcony railing has these janky supports underneath that made me concerned about the stability of the railing. As others have noted, no where to put your suitcases like valise stands in any of the bedrooms. And the house has a bit of a strange configuration, with the downstairs feeling like a lot of wasted space. Nice kitchen. Overall, it certainly met our needs for our stay, but given that it is about 15 minutes from downtown Carbondale, think you could get a nicer place closer in for about the same amount if you looked further in advance.

Beautiful Property but needs to be cleaned much better

Beautiful property, I had a great time with my family. The site needs to be updated, I was excited about the spa shower/tub shown in the pics but it is in the garage and was replaced by a regular shower. The front door handle comes off when attempting to leave. The kitchen trash was full. The walls/windows and outside table were really dirty, I spent family down time cleaning so we could actually enjoy the beauty of the property and the renters after me would have a much cleaner place to visit (they should leave a better review). We paid good money for 4 nights plus a large amount of money for cleaning, so we expected much cleaner. Only one towel per person was provided (4) and they did not smell clean and there was make-up on one of the towels which came out after I washed them. They request that you put a load of towels in the washer before leaving, yet there was no detergent? Luckily I brought my own detergent and washed/dryed and folded towels so the next renters would have truly clean towels (I don’t think our towels were washed with detergent 🤢 It is a very Beautiful property that just needs to be kept up better before it truly turns to trash. Simple fix: Get a better cleaning crew. They should refund my cleaning charge since it wasn’t cleaned for us and I had to clean it, leaving it far cleaner for the next renters…. You’re welcome

Perfectly Located and Clean ‘Bachelor Pad’?

Everything was good except the following: -No kitchen towels -lower bedrooms offer nothing to set luggage or things (like a purse) on top of, such as a dresser or chair or bench. -Could use more living room seating Only 3 bath towels for 4 adults!!! I emailed management about this and didn’t hear back. No extra towels in the whole house. -No Kleenex -Poor lighting in basement for middle of the night potty break -Could use addtl throw blankets for deck/living room -no dishwasher detergent

Nice Place, Great Location

Group of friends on our first post-vaccination get together. This was a great place for us to relax and hang out, and also conveniently located to town, biking, rafting, and some skiing. Would definitely recommend.

Great visit with lovely 2nd story patio.

Enjoyable stay in quiet mountain neighborhood. The road from the highway to the home is a little bumpy, no problem at all but after we booked the listing advised 4wd was required. This information should probably be included in the listing details vs. after the booking however. We were granted early check-in and late checkout automatically which we really appreciated. If you like to jog or cycle, there is a dedicated paved trail to Carbondale. The only minor disappointment - no outdoor grill/bbq, but overall a great weekend and we would book again.
