Milky Way Farmstay by Tiny Away is located in Carcalgong, in the New South Wales region. Just 45 minutes from Mudgee, the tiny house offer easy access to nature, native wildlife, and the charm of countryside living.



Moreover, guests can explore some of the area’s most iconic attractions. Take a scenic drive through Capertee Valley, unwind by Lake Windamere, or discover the natural beauty of Capertee National Park and Gardens of Stone National Park. All of these destinations are conveniently accessible as day trips from the property, with quiet country roads and abundant wildlife enhancing the journey.



A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower—making it a perfect choice among relaxing holiday homes.



Guest Access:

Guests can access the tiny home and its surrounding areas, except for the land host's private residence.

- BBQ grill is available.

- This property is suitable for kids.

- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed

- No smoking inside, except in designated areas

- Mobile reception is good for Optus and Vodafone, while other providers have no signal.

- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge.

- Pets are allowed by 24 hrs prior notice, and must be on leash at all times. The full policy will be sent before arrival.



Important note:



- BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban

- Keep an eye out for snakes as the property is located in bushland (or grassland) areas

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property. Children are welcome under close adult supervision, including a safety guide sent prior to booking.

- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
