The best thing about this property is that it is right on the beach and it has a semi private pool. Otherwise, it was terrible being on the lower unit. There were 7 teenagers staying in the unit above us and it was SO loud and the house literally shook while they were walking above us. The king bed is AWFUL. It creaked with every small movement you would make. The sink in the bathroom would not drain (however, the property manager did fix it within a day). Overall we were not happy with our stay.

I loved the convenience of the pool and private entrance to the beach. The living space was spacious and let in plenty of light. The grill worked well and fresh towels were helpfully provided. Some improvable aspects were the wooden deck was weathered and therefore difficult to walk on in some areas. In my bedroom, there was lots of light from outside that made it challanging for me to sleep. My bed was uncomfortable.

Great beach house

This property has easy access to the beach and beautiful views for the sunrise. The kitchen was very well stocked with items (pots, pans, knives dishes, mugs, glasses,casserole dishes, baking sheets, etc.) you would need to feed a group. We rented both the upper and lower units so it was great to use the whole outdoor common space to leave our beach items and congregate at the fire pit area. The fire pit area was larger than it looked in the pictures and shared by both units. Plenty of outdoor porch seating and a picnic table for the lower unit. There were two enclosed/private outdoor showers - very useful(shared with upper unit). Parking was enough for all 6 of our vehicles (both units). There were stairs to get up to the unit. We had my elderly parents and used Ocean Cures (the best!!!) beach wheelchairs for them on the beach. The only problem was that the boardwalk to the beach was not wide enough to accommodate the wheelchairs but we made it work. Close enough to walk to boardwalk but not too close to be near the noise and crowds. We could also see the Thursday night fireworks from the boardwalk outside the rental unit. It was a great beach house and we would rent again - especially if using both units. (Not sure how it would be someone else above or below)

Nice place to stay

This property was nice, on the beach, kitchen well-stocked. Worked well for our party of 8. The only issues were trash outside was overflowing and the bunk room did not have the trundle bed under it, so the oldest child slept on the couch for our stay.

Great location

Nice views right on the beach and easy walk to the beach. The only negative about being in the lower unit is hearing everything upstairs, however it wasn’t too bad with the people who were there, thankfully.

We liked the unit just fine. It needed to be cleaned better. And when we arrived the shower in one of the bathrooms was broken and it was 2 days before it was fixed. That changed how we got ready for the day. We have yet to hear back about some type of reimbursement. We will go back to Carolina Beach but we will try another place.

Perfect Fit

Beachfront view from an entire wall of windows (living and dining areas). We kept those curtains open night and day! There is an ocean view past dunes covered with sea oats which we really enjoyed as it was so natural and we weren't looking at lots of beach umbrellas :) Happy that the bedroom with bunk bed also had a queen bed, perfect for our son and grandson. We loved the floor plan, open living area. We used the grill on the lower deck for two dinners and the fire pit for s'mores. Private walk over the dunes to a beautiful wide beach. Lifeguard stand very close by and lifeguard on duty most days. We did have to call Bryant Realty about folks walking under the house, through the gate and using the private walk as a beach access. Quite a few people cut through the lower deck surprisingly. Not great with children outside. Bryant said they would post a sign so hopefully they will and hopefully it won't be a continuing problem. Gave check in 4 stars for keys instead of key pad :( It's a short walk to the Carolina Beach boardwalk...Britt's donuts for breakfast, live music and fireworks on Thursday nights. Short drive to Biggers Farm Market where we got all kinds of fresh veggies, fruit and even meats and a key lime pie! Short drive to NC Aquarium, State Park with carnivorous plant trail, Paddle NC also near the marina in the State Park where we had paddleboard instruction. Lots of fun nearby this house but best of all, right on the beach to enjoy swimming in the ocean!

Awesome location and condo!

Enjoyed the area, location close to boardwalk-about a half a mile. Porch was awesome- 6 rocking chairs and picnic table. Spent a lot of the evening time on the porch.

User friendly but needs new cleaning company

Overall we enjoyed our stay. I do fill the description needs to be in larger font that it’s a duplex or shared property. While the property was fairly clean we did have to wash a lot of dishes as they seemed to be put up dirty and the coffee pot was full of burnt coffee. We had used razors and hair in all showers and sand on services. Honestly we thought someone was still in the home with the toys and sand laying around. The bedding that was on the bed does not feel or look fresh. We did have clean sheets and towels provided. You only get an hour after check in to look over property. By the time you’ve unpacked and settled it’s apparent what wasn’t to standard. While this property is user friendly if it were mine I would consider a different house keeping company.

Beach house right in the mix of it all!!

First time to this quaint, little town and could not have been happier! The property was clean, could have used a real deep cleaning, but clean enough. The layout is ideal for open space living with a modern kitchen, comfy family/gathering room, TV and dining table. The three rooms were not quite as comfy regarding decor, beds and linens. The two bathrooms are updated and clean. There are two outdoor showers which are very convenient and the sand path from the house takes you steps from the white sand beaches! The house location is a short distance to the boardwalk, multiple restaurants and conveniences. Loved most everything about it; just the beds, linens and room decor could use some updating!

Great Weekend!!

Great, oceanfront location. Clean property, with adequate space for 6 to 8 people. We rented the lower floor and didn't have a clear view of the beach due to the high dune, but that didn't affect our enjoyment. Thank you.
