„Place was clean, quiet, cute, had all the amenities. Host was polite and answer quickly. Our family of 10 stayed there comfortably. Only "issue" is that the house only has one bathroom, so it was a little tricky to take turns lol.“

„Private and very clean location. King bed was SOOO comfortable to relax and sleep in. Roomy bathroom. Just like staying in a fancy hotel. If was staying longer would have preferred more than a mini fridge. Since no kitchen we made due with doing dishes in shower & sink with a small wash tub. Possibly a small utility sink in laundry storage room would be beneficial. Brought an electric griddle to make our food a few times. „Such a beautiful, historic house. We had 7 people and stayed for 3 nights. Quiet neighborhood. There were comfortable beds and pillows, plenty of towels, plus some shampoo and things in the bathrooms. Washer/dryer and detergent. A well stocked kitchen. Two smart TVs. Good wifi. It was great! Our only complaint was from our 11 year old, that she couldn’t get to the top of the tower (in the attic) haha!“

„We had a wonderful anniversary trip to Nauvoo. The historic and quaint Mix House added some period charm to our stay. While the house retains much of its 19th century charm, it has the modern conveniences needed for a relaxing stay. It may have been the off season, but food and meal choices were limited in Nauvoo itself. We were grateful for the items we ordered from The Apron Bake Shoppe.“
