« Fully stocked and clean..away from city noise but proximity to restaurants, grocery, within 5miles. Peaceful setting and if you like wild life the deer are plentiful. We loved seeing the horses everyday!! We would highly recommend staying here. »

« This is an amazing property. The beds are so comfortable, and the furnishings have been tastefully picked out to fit the house perfectly. The outdoor spaces are also very nice. You can walk right next door to Black Dog Salvage or take a nice walk on the trail. »

« Nice, clean house right on the water. Both the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. The view of the lake was beautiful.The stairs were no joke, but once you got down to the lake it's very peaceful. »

« The house is beautiful with tons of space and everything you need. The cove is quiet and the calm. Owner was very responsive to questions/issues. It is a very steep walk up from dock so not for those with mobility issues. However, with the pool at the house and little planning it’s manageable. One of the few places we have stayed that is nicer in person than the pictures online! »

« We had a great stay at the appropriately called Getaway. Peaceful location and enjoyable amenities and views. If you dont mind a bit more driving with winding roads to get back and forth up the mountain, there is no need to look further. We all really enjoyed our stay. »

« We enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed to cook our meals. The back screened porch was an extra gathering area to hang out and talk about the highlights of plays after we got in from our softball tournament. This area was also equipped with a big screened TV. It was really nice. The house was very clean and well decorated. We will definitely consider staying again »

« This beautiful home is very well appointed, with the best furnished kitchen I have seen yet. Every cabinet, light switch, and door is labeled, making it easy to operate, find and put away things. The boat house is loaded with water toys, and there are board games for everyone. Beds are comfortable, showers are great, all appliances work. Our three-generational family had a wonderful stay. »
