Every once in a while we come across a property where everything comes together to make our stay very memorable. Pensione Monti was exactly that. As other reviewers mentioned, the property itself is somewhat old-fashioned. No latest and greatest design, no flashy interiors. Nonetheless, it has everything one could want. Fantastic location with a wonderful view. Clean, and quiet rooms with comfy beds and nice bathrooms. Pleasant outdoor spaces where one can have a relaxing breakfast or coffee and enjoy the view. Good-sized, clean pool with a nice set of sun chairs and some parts that are in the shade. Hot and cold therapy tubs (this is Ischia, after all!). Adequate parking. But the most important of all was the vibe. Welcoming, unpretentious, and, oh, so relaxing. The staff are friendly and, as others have commented, the owner, Pippo is a real sweetheart who really cares about you and wants you to have a good time. The breakfast was plentiful. In addition to the usual Italian cakes and fruit, one could order eggs and a ham and cheese dish that was so large I could never finish it. All included. We had dinner there twice. The food was tasty and very well-priced. My partner is vegan so they made special dishes for her with a smile. Overall, Pensione Monti offers excellent value and it's one of these rare places where the total experience is more than the sum of its parts.

Sono andata in viaggio ad Ischia con il mio ragazzo e abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura. Siamo stati accolti dal proprietario con tanta gentilezza e premura,consiglio vivamente questo hotel se non si pretende il lusso ma comunque comodità,pulizia e gentilezza spendendo relativamente poco. Personale professionale e sempre disponibile. Posizione perfetta se sì vogliono visitare le diverse zone dell’isola avendo uno scooter o macchina. Non sto dando le 5 stelle solo perché la struttura è da modernizzare.

Una struttura ricettiva dove la conduzione familiare amplifica l'ospitalità del nostro Paese. Il personale è gentile e disponibile: il Sig. Pippo ci ha permesso -coi suoi preziosi consigli- di ottimizzare luoghi e tempi per ammirare la maggior parte dei luoghi meravigliosi che questa isola rigogliosa e verde custodisce. Si percepisce la sua passione nell'accoglienza, accompagnata da lunga esperienza e professionalità...ci ha (ci hanno) coccolato, non ci è mancato nulla e ci sentivamo a casa dalla colazione del mattino fino alla bibita fresca al ritorno pomeridiano. Fortemente consigliato e speriamo di ritornare presto...
