« A great location to stop after a long drive. Very convenient. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was spotless with lovely locally sourced products. Whilst we didn't eat dinner here it was busy and there us a children's play area too. We ate at the Hare & Hounds; a very pleasant 20 minute walk away. There is plenty of car parking spaces at the Gilpin. The breakfast is very basic. We would definitely stay again but not opt for the breakfast. »

« I did not get to stay at the OVO, I booked the wrong date (my error), but having paid Expedia for insurance that would alow me to make changes to the booking, the venue wanted to charge a handling fee that was 100% of the room cost. seeing that it would have cost me the full room cost on top of whatever the actual day would cost me I decided not to cancel and to book elsewhere. »

« We stayed overnight at The Gateway Inn for a nearby family function and it was absolutely lovely - we wish we could have stayed longer and definitely intend to come back. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the rooms and bar/restaurant are all comfortably and beautifully finished. Our room was impeccably cleaned, furnished beautifully and had lovely amenities included (toiletries and tea/coffee, biscuits). Do pay attention to the hotel’s flag when booking about some rooms being less...

« What a great stay. Kevin and Maria were very attentive, warm, and hospitable. This was our first night in UK after a long flight and felt like home. The accommodations were very nice and the king room was so cozy. The bed slept great and had everything we needed.
