„We loved our stay at the Dreaded Grape cabana. The photos don't do justice to the size of the property in a lovely courtyard with an honesty bar full of cold beers. It's steps away from a quiet beach and easy walking distance to the centre of Caye Caulker. Excellent air conditioning and the cabana was well equipped with coffee. The bed was very comfortable and we loved sitting out on the terrace for breakfast. Ben was a great host and gave us excellent tips to help us make the most of our stay. ...

„Tim & Debbie were great. The property is fun with a shared pool right outside the cabana. It is a short walk to their oceanfront property. The way the island is set up it's fine for a short walk to the beach instead of the beachfront I didn't feel like we missed out at all. The staff is friendly and helpful. Jiani and Beyonce are awesome concierges, definetly recommend Gerald & Gerald Tours for the snorkeling. I can not really think of anything they could do better.“

„Excellent for 2. No hot water. Coffee machine is from the 80s. Plumbing is loose. New fridge. Great air-conditioning and fans help when it's hot. Lighting is as bad as it gets. Outdoor furniture Needs replacement as they can't be fixed. Rooftop patio is excellent and would be phenomenal if the furniture wasn't falling apart. Needs some lamps and extension cords. But, if I'm in Belize, I'd stay there again.“

„The cottage worked well for us, and Michael was very helpful - brought more spoons and water when needed etc. We liked the low key nature of Caye Caulker but having come from another Island where the children could play and swim freely, the pool at the cottage was too deep and coated in sharp concrete that caused grazes, and the only place to swim on the Island is the split where the music was so loud at the weekends- so I’d recommend for adults and backpackers but not really for children.“

Be sure to arrange snorkeling trip with Francis and wish we had known that we could arrange fishing with him before booking through a local company.
