Hotel Iowa central

« New property. Clean, modern. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms are small, but we were only staying one night. It was quiet. We saw several deer in the adjacent field when we woke up! Breakfast was standard. I prefer more fresh fruit options. Overall a good stay. »

« Easy parking close to the hotel. Hotel and casino very clean and well-taken care of. Friendly staff! This place is just the right size and lots of fun! The whole complex is well-designed for convenience and ease. »

« I found the bed to be inadequate to sleep comfortably. I don't know if it was too soft or the lower metal frame that was flexing like a metal can, but I could not find a comfortable spot and I slept across the top of the bed where the pillows usually are. I did these 2 nights and then left; the staff were nice but the bed was terrible »

« Clean room, hot showers, yummy scones for breakfast and the $10 credit at the bar was a bonus. Love the Blackhawk »

« Staff friendly. We paid for a suite but didn't have a couch as previously when we stayed and paid for a suite. We have sleep issues so get a suite to help with that. Plus my husband wanted to watch NCAA basketball on a couch not the bed!!!! We stayed in February and the swimming pool was closed. It still was closed. Grandkids were looking forward to swim!!!! »

« The hotel offered great value for the price, but there’s room to improve its overall appeal: the beds were old and uncomfortable, which affected sleep. The lobby was small though kept clean; the breakfast was modest in size but clean, leaving guests with a straightforward start to the day. Additionally, the hallways had an unpleasant smell, which detracted from the overall first impression and highlights a need for improved odor control and ventilation throughout the property. »
