The expectation was high for our stay at Namastsy especially after seeing the photos and reading the description of the place and amenities. The reality, however, was quite disappointing. While the location and Folly beach itself were fantastic there were several problems that impacted our stay. Our main issues were with maintenance issues and the lack of timeliness in having them addressed. We rented this place for our annual two week family beach vacation. The entire first week without a working dryer. MOR sent a maintenance man out to check it and he was unable to fix the problem-water in the dryer and in the front control panel. The owner a day later contacted their own appliance repair man and two days later he arrived and was able to fix as he told us he’s repaired it several times in the last few years. It’s a known issue and told us the owner is aware -due to the location of the washer/dryer in a tight space and told us we needed to run the dryer daily in order to keep it from happening. We were told there was laundry service available but the owner was only offering to pay for one load. One. A house full of people including a toddler and a 10 mo old Wed the first week we also let MOR maintenance know that the only light in the kitchen was out. The following week on Tuesday he came back with lightbulbs that did not fit. Said the owner would order new ones.When we left on Saturday the light was still out.We washed dishes in the evening using a headlamp.a large picture
