Great beach getaway

The house's proximity to the beach was absolutely perfect. Just a 4-minute walk down the sandy path and we were on the gorgeous Isle of Palms shoreline. One of the highlights was being within walking distance of some fantastic restaurants. We enjoyed fresh seafood at the waterfront spots, grabbed casual lunches without having to drive, and even discovered a few local gems we never would have found otherwise. Having great dining options so close made our evenings effortless and added to the vacation feel.The rental was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable beach week. The kitchen had all the essentials needed. The outdoor space was perfect for morning coffee and evening relaxation after long beach days. This house delivered exactly what we wanted: an easy, relaxing beach vacation where everything was within reach.

Exactly as described

This bungalow is exactly as described and shown in the photos. The furnishings are very basic, yet the house is comfortable and serves its purpose if bringing pets. The porch and backyard are perfect for fur babies. The walk to the beach is easy.

House was clean and had all of the hospitality items we needed. It is an older home on a busy street but no complaints. We were surprised with the dog friendly beach and our pup was living his best life. Host communication was fantastic. Thank you.

falls short of advertised A condition

AC works great, TVs are easy to set up streaming, good amount of space. Yard very overgrown and in dire need of maintenance. Yard was very buggy. I got eaten alive trying to walk my dog in the backyard. Needed to repeatedly apply off spray to try to protect myself. Queen bed mattress needs to be replaced- very soggy. Location is great and property manager is available. Floors don't look dirty but when I walked on them barefoot my feet got filthy. Overall unit needs some updating and better maintenance if they list it as A condition

Perfect Island Getaway!

We came to the Isle of Palms for a wedding, and our stay was just right. We walked to the beach a couple times and really enjoyed that. Our dog liked the backyard, and we loved the screened in back porch. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely try to stay in your place!

Enjoyable stay with the dogs. No issues and easy laid out instructions. The beach chairs there were quite aged but found 2 that worked. If you have a dog that likes to wander/escape, then know the fence goes up to a screened patio which could be pushed past. We had extended leash that worked well without any issues. The fence is otherwise solid all the way around. There were options to rent various conveniences for the island. This place definitely makes the short list for dog friendly options. The fees ended up costing more than the nightly rate for 2 nights but this is known before purchasing. There are basic supplies with hotel style soap and dishwasher stuff and a few towels but you will need to bring plenty with family and dogs. The mattresses were noisy and the air conditioner is outside the smaller bedroom which was noisy as well. Still, for the price and location, 4.5 stars rounded up.

Wonderful stay with 5 star service!

We arrived and needed some help getting the grill working. They came right over to help us and we really enjoyed our visit with Tyler who helped us with everything and gave us great recommendations for the area. The house was so cute. It’s only a few blocks from the beach so my teen could walk back and forth. We had a great time in the bungalow and it was really modern and clean’

Spring Break

Family trip for spring break with my 8 year old. We had a nice time with great proximity to the beach. The home was clean and had all of the essentials! Will definitely visit IOP again. Great experience!

Nice stay near beach

Quick walk to the beach. Cute little house with two bedrooms. House was clean with easy self check in. Both showers were clean but could use a revamp. We brought our dog so my issue is with the backyard. When we arrived half the yard was knee high weeds - it was mowed during our stay. The other half is overgrown vines, trees, and bushes as well as pine straw covered in leaves. Not somewhere I’d let my dog run and play nor children if we had any. Some simple landscaping would help.

Great location in Isle of Palms

This was our 3rd visit to the Bungalow. We really enjoyed our sunset walks to the beach. The first two nights we enjoyed the sunsets we also saw Dolphins just offshore of the inlet. Bungalow also has a great screened in porch where we could enjoy the birds without the bugs. Will visit again

Perfect for us

Place was perfect for us. My husband has mobility issues and it was easy in and out. Had all that we needed for our stay and we were comfortable. Since we came in Feb and the weather was colder, we found the quilt not warm enough on the king bed - but as we weren’t using the other bedroom were able to use that cover as well which was fine. I am sure in the summer it would have been okay. We would loveto stay again.

Quaint beach abode

There were some issues with the property but the agent we were in contact with was quick to respond. Unfortunately though, it was not very clean. Our feet were black within minutes of being there and we had to hand wash dishes before we were able to use them because they were caked with food from previous renters. Another unfortunate thing was, even though we brought our concerns in regards to the state of cleanliness, we were met with “that’s up to you to go buy cleaning products and clean it yourself”… even though it wasn’t our filth to begin with.

Perfect Location/Perfect for Dog

Stayed here for Low Country Oyster Festival. In a perfect location to access beach, restaurants, and grocery stores. Loved the fenced in backyard for our Lab who loved exploring the yard. Screen porch very nice. King Bed super comfy. Very clean. Entry/Exit lock was much easier than at many places we have stayed. Only suggestion would be a little more lighting for the kitchen area. Thanks for being pet friendly.

Clean, Convenient, Canine-Friendly

We were so comfortable here. Very, very clean and plenty of room. We and our dogs appreciated the big, fenced-in back yard-no worries about them escaping and getting lost. We were looking for proximity to the beautiful beaches and a short commute to Charleston, and we found them. Quiet neighborhood with nearby shopping a plus.Our host was very responsive. We definitely recommend the "Beachy Isle of Palms Bungalow!"

Great location in Isle of Palms

The 2nd and hopefully not the last time we stay at this bungalow. It is a very comfortable place and also located within walking distance to the beach. We could hear the surf one evening since the waves were kicking up a little more than normal.
