Port O' Call D301 by Deserving Vacations
- 2026 Beach Update: The City of Isle of Palms is carrying out a beach renourishment project, expected to move along the beach in sections between summer and fall 2026. Because crews work steadily down the shoreline, any impact to a specific area is temporary, and the beach stays open with access outside active work zones. A final schedule hasn't been released yet — we're tracking updates and are happy to provide guidance based on your travel dates. Port O’ Call sits within Wild Dunes, putting you steps from the beach, the oceanfront community pool, golf, bike trails, spa, and the dining and shopping of IOP, Sullivan’s Island, and historic Charleston 30 minutes away. The property is also wheelchair accessible.

🏊 Pool Access
Port O’ Call D301 guests have exclusive access to the Port O’ Call oceanfront pool. Please note that the pools at the Boardwalk Inn, Sweetgrass Inn, and Sweetgrass Fitness Center are reserved for resort hotel guests only and are not available to vacation rental guests. Wild Dunes does not have a central pool open to all visitors — pool access is specific to your community.
🏋️ Fitness
The fitness center at Wild Dunes is reserved for resort hotel guests only. We recommend the Isle of Palms Recreation Center as a fantastic alternative — featuring a cardio room, fitness classes, and brand new courts just a quick drive down Palm Blvd.
🎾 Tennis & Pickleball
Pay-to-play court time is available at the Wild Dunes Tennis Center. We also recommend the free tennis and pickleball courts at the Isle of Palms Recreation Center — just a quick drive down Palm Blvd!
