« The location was great-walking distance to many things if you are willing to put the steps in. Driveway is narrow so small SUV or smaller car only. Lower apartment was great for my daughter and I. The greatest challenge we had was the people staying in the upper apartment. They were so loud each night and very disruptive with their yelling and language. The walls are thin so hope for good neighbors. »

« This is a beautiful, updated space in a historic home in downtown Charleston. The owner was very responsive and interested in making sure their guests had a comfortable stay. The only downside was that parking was a 10 minute walk away, which we were not expecting. »

« Some confusion (on our part) as to where to park. Host promptly came to our rescue and we had convenient parking for the duration of the stay. Very nice couple. Have owned an old home (1803) and know what to expect - a great accommodation for visiting an historic old town. Very comfortable bedding and pillows! Do we really want to get up and start sight-seeing? »

« Absolutely loved the property! It was very clean, very well stocked with dishes and cookware so you could prepare meals if you wanted to. All of the furniture was very comfortable and the house had a very cozy feel. It was definitely a home away from home. Communication with the host was great. We would definitely stay there again if we find ourselves coming back to Charleston. »

« The hosts were very responsive. This is a pretty neat property and the location was great. The "master" bedroom was nice, spacious, with an attached bathroom. The two additional third floor bedrooms were not as nice - the twin bed/trundle bed room in particular was not very comfortable. It would be fine for kids, but bed was short, lacked a duvet cover and the bed moved around with very normal tossing of turning by a mid-sized adults. The bathroom shared by those bedrooms was small and lacked...
