The Space:

This spacious and thoughtfully designed two-bedroom, one-bath unit offers a stylish interior, ample storage, and an open-concept kitchen perfect for everyday living in your home away from home. Enjoy premium countertops and appliances, oversized windows that fill the space with natural light, and an open, welcoming layout ideal for all guests. The bedrooms include one king bed and two full beds, perfect for a restful night’s sleep, and the modern bathroom features a large vanity and shower/tub combo to relax in after a fun day of exploring.



Guest Access:

The unit has a digital keypad at the front door which will provide you access to the house. The code will be provided upon check-in. You will have full and private access to the home.



The Neighborhood:

Red Clay Landing is located in Mill Town, a lively Chattanooga neighborhood known for its mix of residential, commercial, and recreational spaces. This area blends historic charm with modern development, offering a variety of dining, cafes, and shops. Just a short drive from downtown, residents enjoy easy access to Chattanooga’s best attractions like the Hunter Museum, Tennessee Aquarium, and the Riverfront. With convenient access to major highways, this vibrant neighborhood offers both urban convenience and local character.



Fall is a fun season to be in Mill Town. The Tennessee Riverwalk runs right along the water and turns into one of the best places in the city to take in the change of color. September brings Ironman Chattanooga through the neighborhood, over 2,500 athletes swimming, biking, and running 140.6 miles, with the finish line at Ross's Landing. Wine Over Water follows on October 10 at Renaissance Park, an evening of tastings along the river benefiting Preserve Chattanooga. Later in October, World of Bluegrass brings a full week of showcases and a downtown festival to the city. And the first weekend of November, Ross's Landing fills up again for Head of the Hooch, one of the largest rowing regattas in the country, free to watch from the riverbank. Staying at the Poplin keeps you close to all the autumn action.



Getting Around:

To make the most of your stay, we recommend a car to get around. This unit can accommodate one car on the property (you can find the lot behind the building), but street parking is also allowed.



UBER and Lyft are available throughout the Chattanooga area, in addition to a number of local taxi services. Please note that availability may be extremely limited during peak times.



The city of Chattanooga offers reasonably priced parking on the street and in several public parking lots.



A free electric shuttle bus runs between the Chattanooga Choo Choo and the Tennessee Aquarium with stops at every block. The buses run every 15 minutes, Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 10 pm, Saturday from 9:30 am to 11 pm, and Sunday from 9:30 am to 8:30 pm. Bus schedules may vary, please consult the Chattanooga Area Regional Transit Authority website for the most up to date schedules.



Bike Chattanooga offers bike share rentals at 42 self-service kiosk locations all around downtown Chattanooga. With over 300 bicycles and 50 e-bikes, this is a great way to explore the city. Visit Bike Chattanooga’s website to learn more.



Other Things to Note:

Please note that guests under 21 or guests residing in the Greater Chattanooga Metropolitan Area will be charged a $200 refundable deposit subsequent to receiving their booking confirmation. Please review our policy forbidding parties, events and unregistered guests to ensure your stay abides with this policy and does not jeopardize your deposit.



No Smoking:

Smoking, vaping, and the use of e-cigarettes are prohibited inside Timberroot properties.

Refer to the rental agreement to see these policies and the additional fees that occur if you fail to follow them.



Pets:

We are a pet friendly home. Pets must be crated when they are left unattended in the home. We do not allow pets on furniture or beds, and all waste must be cleaned up from the yard. All pets require a $35 non-refundable pet fee. If there is evidence of pet hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged the cost to clean this. In the event that a security deposit is collected, we will retain all or part of the security deposit to cover any costs associated with additional cleaning due to pets.



Interaction with Guests:

We like to give our guests maximum privacy, so we offer contact-free check-in via a digital door code. If you ever need anything during your stay, our Guest Services team is on call from 8:00 am to 11:30 pm seven days a week.
