comfort at Karass
My stay was great. Angie was extremely helpful with allowing me to use the refrigerator for my food and helping with some of the details of cooking it. Also she helped me with my luggage. My only wish was that there was more light in the Blue Spruce room. Everything else was wonderful

Never thought in 1 million years in 2020 I would have to check if a Place had tv This place did not nothing to do in this little city especially if you stop by on a Tuesday I understand Covid and all but literally no place to eat no place to go nothing to do breakfast was very nice Miss Angie did a good job but for $200 a night to sit in a room was not my idea of a good time

I love it!
I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a quiet, peaceful getaway. The host was as pleasant as fresh air! The space was well kept, and we were given a great recommendation for food. I’ll continue to use this space whenever I’m in that neck of the country!

The Karass Inn is a very nice place for a relaxing weekend. Great location and the staff are very helpful. Bedding and room were super clean. I should mention we loved our breakfast each morning.

A very nice boutique b&b
I stayed here for 4 nights on my ski trip. The inn is very clean, the bed is very comfortable, the innkeeper is very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is great. I think all rooms are on the second, which is the top, floor. So, it's very quiet. I will definitely come back. The only minor thing I would like to mention is that the sink in the bathroom is quite small. It didn't bother me though.

Very convenient to Chester and Springfield. Comfortable with rustic charm. Parking is cozy but sufficient. This was my second stay and I will certainly be coming back.

If you want to get away from it all...
The hosts were very friendly and accomodating. They have a good process for being efficient with your time and theirs and it works. Sustainability is a focus in their process which is great! However, other personal preferences such as the Inn being a Non-TV facility starts to blur the lines between Host comfort/preference vs Guest preferences. The breakfast was average for a B&B. Facility is starting to show some wear.. Overall.. pleasant hosts and ok stay.. Rather quiet though..

Jack and Angie are wonderful hosts. The Hotel is easy to get to and very convenient to the town and what it has to offer. It was clean, charming and the food that Angie offered for breakfast was lovely. Fresh squeezed morning OJ! Yum! Would go back in a heartbeat and easily recommend.

It was very close to Okemo where we had planned a ski trip to, but the price is so much less expensive than living on the Okemo property. The breakfast was amazing, and staff were super friendly. Will book it again!

Quaint Bed and Breakfast in Vermont / Great Food!
The owner that cooks breakfast in the morning was great, very informative, kind, passionate about her job, and an Excellent Cook!! The room was nice, bathroom a little outdated but it worked. The lady who received us, when we arrived, did not look or act professional and it would have been great if she would've turned on the AC before she walked us into that hot box.. Instead she walked us up to a room that was super hot and said, "It gets hot up here on the second floor and you can turn on the AC if you want to." If she would have turned on the AC and let it ran, she would have noticed the numerous flies buzzing around the room. When the door knob broke off on the bathroom, this same lady did not even offer to try to open it up. Her response was, "We will call someone on Monday, you can use the bathroom downstairs." I then grabbed a butter knife and got it open in 1 minute, so we could still use the bathroom in our room. My kids could have been stuck inside and her response and demeanor would not have been any different! The owner in the morning was nice but the lady in the afternoon is the type of person that would have handed me a plunger if i told her the toilet did not flush. She needs to improve her presentation and act more hospitable, if this Bed/Breakfast wants to be ranked higher.

Very clean hotel, friendly staff, GREAT breakfast. However, thin walls, doors slamming, and when we visited in May the heating system was off although the weather was unseasonably cold, so bundle up, if you’re staying in the spring or fall!!

Nice little Inn!
The room I had was very comfortable and clean. There is a common great room area down the hall; there is no TV in the room, which is just fine for me. Good bed, nice linens. Private bathroom with shower. Very quiet neighborhood- almost no traffic noise at night. Great staff, attentive and polite, very friendly people. Provide a nice breakfast starting at 7:30, but because I had to work early, they actually prepared my breakfast earlier than normal (7 am Thanks!)

Country Inn with excellent service
Inn owner, Angie, was delightful from sending a welcoming email to providing us with helpful hints on restaurants & other activities in the surrounding area. Clean, comfortable, country-inn style rooms and delicious home-made breakfast. Also, inn owner left out coffee, tea, fruit & yogurt in case guests needed a snack when they arrived ... nice extra touch.

Fair for the price
Fair for the price (for the season and for the location close to the ski resorts). Very nice and welcoming staff, home-style breakfast included. The place is clean and well maintained, but ran down, with time. The sheets were clean, but the duvet had spots including on the inside. No TV in the whole place, which to all the fairness was announces upfront. What was not announces was that we had to share the room with at least 5 ladybugs, quite active and often flying around one at a time. It was funny and charming, but unexpected! If you come skiing, though, there is no much choice for this price in the area...

Nice place to stay if you're on a budget.
The Karass Inn is a very good value for the money. The innkeeper is pleasant and made a nice breakfast and was very helpful. The inn itself is a little stark, probably in keeping with the style of the period. The bathroom is rather small and shower is a one person standing shower. The area around the hotel is very scenic and some nice restaurants in the area as well.

We booked the Karass Inn on a whim during an extended weekend jaunt through New England. We wanted a quaint (my wife's word) place to rest our head for the Vermont leg of our leaf peeping journey - the Karass provided. The Innkeeper was a pleasant and accommodating (bonus points for providing us with directions to Boston Logan without having to drive through the hell that is inner Boston traffic), the bed was soft, and the breakfast was delicious. We had no cellular service, but the Inn provided wifi. One final thing: I didn't spot a single television in the Inn. Nice!

Great Time at the Karass Inn
My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay at The Karass Inn. The Inn Keepers were extremely nice and helpful. The room was cozy for just the two of us. Probably even better in the winter when people are there to ski. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

Wonderfully Pleasant Stay
The owners are incredibly friendly, kept the inn in a great cleanliness, and made sure your needs were met. Breakfast was delicious!!! And I truly liked how the hot breakfast differ every morning. Very flexible on visitor dietary needs. The cook was very sensitive to friend's gluten free diet and made sure his food met his requirements. Abundant selection of games and books to read in their common room. Only wished there were a floor mirror in the rooms or maybe in common room to look at our outfits because we had planned to attend a wedding while visiting.
