Absolutely terrible service support by front desk and by hotel manager. His friendly welcome: “Please do not hesitate to contact me, if there is anything we can do to make your stay more comfortable.“ Proved to be nonsense. (friendly do not disclose his name) Our debit card has been charged twice, all my intervention was neglected - money still not booked back onto my account. Very disappointed

Altbackenes Stadthotel ohne irgendwelche Services
Die Bilder im Internet täuschen ein modernisiertes Hotel vor. Das ist zumindest bei meinem Zimmer keinesfalls der Fall gewesen. Altes Bad fleckiger Teppichboden durchgelegenes Bett sperrholzmöbel. Das teuer bezahlte Upgrade hat sich nicht bezahlt gemacht. Außerdem wurde das Zimmer bei 4 Nächten Aufenthalt nicht ein einziges Mal gereinigt. Handtuchwechsel: Fehlanzeige Die Rezeption hat auf Beschwerden nicht reagiert. Angeblich wird nach 3 Nächten gereinigt aber auch das passierte nicht. Die versprochenen Handtücher kamen natürlich auch nie.

I don’t really write reviews for places I stay at but this one impressed me beyond my expectations. I planned this trip for my fiancé’s 30th birthday and the location and price of this hotel is the best you will find. Not too far away from everything, conveniently located transportation and so many food choices! My fiancé never shuts up about NYC but Chicago has definitely taken a place in his heart. He even asked to come back. Highly recommend this hotel for everything and beyond.

Overall great trip and hotel! If I'm being critical: the rooms were smaller than expected, and the bathroom had a mirror partially removed for the wall, and the cord for the blinds were broken as well. For over $500 I would expect them to be a little better. Other than that, 10/10! Very minimal issues.

Hotel room was very small compared to the price we paid of more than $200. Bed was small not long enogh for a tall guy (6ft) my legs were liberally out of the bed. Breakfast was not included, where as in expedia it was mentioned as breakfast included.

Fantastic location on Michigan Ave however our room had filthy carpeting and a teeny bathroom. We’d reserved for rooms for 2 nights for our family and two of our sons had to move because the room was unsatisfactory. Staff was helpful in assisting. We liked the idea of an established hotel celebrating their 100th anniversary however cleaning the carpeting for the celebration would’ve been appropriate.

Nice historic property with fresh, clean visual renovations. Lobby bar and social area is comfortable and inviting. Mattress, pillows, and sheets were fine. On the harder side. Older bathroom fixtures, narrow doorways, plain theme. Lobby on 2nd Floor creates congestion at elevators and entrance.

A property that’s right in the heart of the magnificent mile. Easy walking distance to food options. Have stayed here multiple times. There’s a self park garage right next door, or for $10 more you can valet at the hotel.

There was an issue with the room I was originally given. The front desk staff couldn’t have been nicer about listening and reassigning me to a different room! I will be staying here again on my next visit-thanks to the staff and the location near so much!

Parking was extremely easy, however it cost nearly $100 and once you parked you couldn’t retrieve your car. Luckily, everything was walkable so we didn’t have an issue. Our room was fine, but oh so small. The view was an alleyway and we only had one tiny window in our room. The fridge was the smallest thing I’ve ever seen but held a few things. The bathroom was bice and everything felt and looked clean. We were given two towels, no hand towel, and one wash cloth. Seemed really odd for a two person stay. All in all, it was fine for the price I found on a 3rs party website but isn’t worth spending over $100 a night on.

The parking is poorly marked and a challenge during rush hour traffic. There is valet parking but not well marked.The hotel is very close to a major hospital, however, in the middle of the night ambulances don't use their sirens unless absolutely necessary. Staff, cleaniness and location were wonderful.
