The reason I booked this hotel was through recommendations and that it was close to the navy base, and I needed a hotel that included breakfast which on the website said continental breakfast and a bonus of free shuttle to navy base on graduation day. Breakfast day 1 was blueberry muffins and Blueberry yogurt juice coffee and tea throughout my 5 day stay that was offered every morning so I had an additional expense which I didn’t expect as a single parent I had to purchase breakfast and as for the free shuttle no such thing they charged $4 each person per way but after graduation nobody came to pick myself or my daughter and my new sailor up so an additional $25 taxi again an expense I really didn’t need
The day before my departure I needed to get cash to pay for a taxi to get me and my daughter to the airport the following day, again it was clearly stated on the hotel’s website that they had an ATM machine, when I asked I was told no it’s not on the premises it’s situated at the diner across from the hotel which is a completely different business to the hotel so yet again I was screwed because the diner was now closed for the day
False advertising I paid a lot for my hotel for the 5 days and felt so let down
