„We stayed here to be close to Grayson Highlands State Park and New River to go see the wild ponies and go birding. There were many birds on the property including hummingbirds. Thank you for having the feeder up! We also saw a baby bunny under the shrubs, baby deer, chipmunk, and groundhog on the gravel entrance road. The property was all as described. The only sounds were the birdsong and the creek. :)“

„The property was lovely in its rustic style. Little issues than can just happen through usage. It’s very roomy. I had everything I needed. Good WiFi. Good streaming ability on the television. I would definitely use it again. The AC worked well. Nice appliances. The only thing I would change is taking a nightlight for the middle of the night bathroom visits.“

„My husband, kids, and I had such a fabulous weekend at the Garden Shed. The house itself was charming and incredibly clean. We appreciated the owners leaving carrots for the kids to feed Hieronymus, the friendly donkey just steps from the door. We sat outside at night and watched fireflies light up the trees like it was Christmas. If you're looking for a place that's near Grayson Highlands State Park, this is a great option!“

„We brought our 16 year old grandson to introduce him to the Va Creeper. The unit is part of a big house, but it was very spacious and private for us. It has a screened-in back porch which was wonderful for bringing our bikes in for security; it was a great place to relax in the evening - we could hear the river which was about a block away. „Property was updated and immaculate. The layout is fantastic. We really enjoyed the porch and spent most of our time outside enjoying the sounds of nature. We had motorcycle riders in our group who wanted to ride the dragon and the road to the property was a little bit challenging as there was loose gravel where they had recently made repairs. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will stay again!“

„The property is in a great location. Easy to walk to town, a cute park, and the bike store we use to transport us to the Creeper Trail. The only downside was the wasp problem which made it impossible to enjoy sitting on the beautiful front porch. Owner was very friendly and responsive to our concerns regarding this matter.“

"POSITIV Schönes, historisches Hotel im Zentrum der Kleinstadt Marion, VA Gemütliches, sauberes Zimmer mit historischem Charme. Freundliches Personal ZU VERBESSERN Auch als historisches Hotel würden einige Auffrischungen und Renovierungen nicht schaden. Gläser statt Plastikbecher auf dem Zimmer wäre toll. Gäste im Nebenzimmer durch Verbindungstür laut zu hören. Treppenstufen, um zur Lobby (ab dort Lift) zu kommen, bei schwerem Gepäck unbequem. Frühstück zwar kostenlos, aber viel zu einfach und nichts frisch, Frühstücksraum nicht schön. Klimaanlage im Zimmer sehr laut. "

"I don’t understand the positive feedbacks. The hotel is old and run down. In the gym, none of the equipment works properly. Sofa in room was torn in several places. Mirrors were really dirty. TV is old and picture quality is poor. I wouldn't stay here again"
