„We (two couples) loved our stay at Gizeux. Stéphanie is a generous host with her time and hospitality. Our stay started perfectly with a home cooked meal and stories about the history of the château. Gizeux is an excellent base to explore the Loire and its magnificent châteaux. At the end of the day it was always very special driving back to our very own! The family is doing an incredible job of preserving the château and it was an absolute privilege to make it our home for a few days.“

„Gregoire was a wonderful host. The Castle was clean, and any small critiques are easily understood by living in a castle from 1520! The bathrooms are modern, the beds very comfortable. There is no Air Conditioning, and the days were very warm! There were fans, though, and the nights cooled down a bit. We would definitely stay there again! Thank you, Gregoire!“

„We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful house! Annie and François were so kind and friendly, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The rooms were spacious and beautiful, and the garden was amazing. Some of my children finally learned to swim confidently in the lovely saltwater pool. We visited the château at Saumur and the old town square, and enjoyed every moment of our holiday. We hope to stay here again another year!“

„Zimmer sind im Stil appartment hotels, schoen modern engerichtet und sehr sauber, man muss Geschirrtuch etc mitbringen. Man kann gegen Gebuehr Waschmittel etc kaufen, kostet allerdings mehrfach mehr. In 10 Minuten Fussweg gibt es einen Supermarkt. 26 Km von Chatellerault, naechtse Bahnstation. Man kann es nur empfehlen, wenn man im Loire Valley unterwegs ist.“

„Wir (2 Erw, 3 Ki) waren dort eine Woche, um die Loire-Schlösser zu besichtigen. Die Anlage war dafür sehr gut gelegen. Sie liegt aber leicht ausserhalb von Azay, so dass wir immer mit dem Auto (auch zum Bäcker) fahren mussten. Das Haus war sauber (nicht perfekt aber ok). Das Schwimmbad ist nicht groß, aber für Kinder ausreichend. Die Sauna ist klein aber OK. “
